Michael James Verta

I underwent an artery repair surgery with Dr. Verta and he was great. I would place my full trust in him any day of the week. This was an extremely scary time for me and he was sympathetic, understanding and extremely confident in his ability to fix things. Following surgery I had a lot of questions and concerns and every time I would call or visit his office I was promptly and kindly given the answers I needed. I am very pleased with my recovery, the incision and working with Dr. Verta.

Dr Verta wanted to cut open my abdomen to place stents in my legs and told me recovery would be weeks if not months, when I asked if there were any less invasive methods to use he said no. Sent my records to our son who is a Dr. in Philadelphia and after looking over them he determined there was no reason why they couldn't do this going through groin area. He contacted another Vascular Surgeon for me in Rockford and has procedure done. Don't go to this guy unless you want to be laid open.
