Michael Shapiro

I had emergency surgery by Dr Shapiro for a perforated colon. I was very ill and the trauma team saved my life. I spent 30 days in the hospital and then 30 days in rehab. As I was improving there was a second surgery that needed to be done. Dr Shapiro became my quarterback and arranged all the calls with my various doctors to make sure I was ready. The surgery went great and I’m on the road to complete recovery. Dr Shapiro has not only been a great doctor but an amazing cheerleader. Thank you Dr Shapiro.

Dr. Shapiro is an amazing trauma surgeon who cares deeply for his patients. He is kind and passionate about his work. I cannot thank him enough for saving my life.

Amazing surgeon!! Always answers all your questions in depth and is never “too busy” for you. While in the hospital he’ll come check on you personally and makes sure things get done. One of the best doctors I’ve ever met! Wish more were like him.
