Dr. Schaufele truly cares about his patients. He is thorough with examinations, took time to listen to my concerns and treated me like a family member. I miss him since he moved.

Dr. Schaufele is the most caring and precise Dr. In his field. He is so very knowledgeable on every aspect. Blessed to have him.

Dr. Schaufele is kind, caring and attentive physician. He found a workable for my back pain. But most days importantly he has always taken the time to listen to my concerns!

I went to at least five doctors trying to get help with my neck pain, which often had me in tears and affected my work. Finally I found Dr Schaufele who gave me a nerve ablation that worked. I am so grateful

Dr.Michael K. Schaufele told me there is nothing else he could do for me. So I told him I'm getting a second opinion on my back and he got mad and kicked me out.

I've had RFA procedures that have helped me tremendously , leaving me feeling Ah~mazing compared to before procedures. I love Dr Schaufele & Staff they are the best.

Dr. Schaufele methodically and conservatively managed my chronic back pain for many years. After myltiple attempts at pain management with only medication relief, he recommended a spinal cord stimulator implant. It changed my life. Dr. Schaufele continues to manage my moderate pain after slowly and patiently weaning me off of major doses of pain medicine. He is an outstanding doctor in every way. He is the consummate professional, a skilled clinician, and a responsive and warm individual.

I have been seeing these doctors for the better part of I'll say 10 years and I have always been treated with the upmost respect the doctors are kind and if you have a new problem or something that's really bothering you they have no problem getting a test ordered to get to the bottom of the situation and find out what's really going on the doctors are great my doctor is dr. Tark in he is absolutely awesome and all of the PA are the best everyone I've ever seen always happy to see you with a great big smile makes you feel very welcome it has got to be the best doctors and PAs have ever seen in this field of treatment I have been going there so long seeing them over and over well the only way I can say it is in some way I have just grown to love them all and I've had the pleasure of meeting some of the newer staff recently and they were fantastic as well I highly recommend this place if this is the type of treatment you need and you have dr. Dr. Michael Schaufele is the best! I couldn't have asked for a better Doctor, he explained everything in detail and gave me my three options before I made my choice and after two year's I'm still very happy with my choice and that Doctor Schaufele is my Doctor.

Dr Schaufele is the best pain management doctor out there..He is kind , he listens ,and he thinks outside of the box. My Husband has been seeing him now for over 7 years. He has educated him to the cause of his pain and what he can do to control my pain. If you looking for a pill mill or someone who thinks your problems can be solve by a pill then Dr Schaufele is not your guy . He is a wonderful physician and I have always been happy with his care. He is a very compassionate man and always does what he can to help me feel better.

Dr. Schaufele is the complete package: he is warm, personable, knowledgeable, considerate, and empathetic. He is a result oriented professional. Did I say he is fit and fabulous too? Okay, I threw that in for extra stickers on my next office visit. That bit was for the ladies, wait, I almost forgot which state I am in. Oh my word, my bad. Now, setting the laughter aside. Dr. Schaufele cares, and that is the point of this review. He genuinely wants you to feel better. He will ask you what you want and actively listen to you too. The advice and action steps taken will be what you need. Being in pain is no fun. Laugh more often than you cry and go see Dr. Schaufele. I wish you peace, happiness and healing. I have been going to Dr. Schaufele ever since he was at the Emory Spine Center. I find that he is a very caring and compassionate man. Always goes out of his way to do what he can to give the best pain management.

Dr. Schaufele treated me for chronic mid back pain, and I found him to be very capable - with friendly and empathic interaction. He worked with me to find the cause of the pain, and then treated it accordingly. He explained what he was doing before he did it, and then asked for feedback after the procedures. I have already recommended him to friends, and will go back to him when the need arises. I had no trouble getting appointments, and the wait time was very reasonable.

Avoid this practice at all cost. Have been seeing for five months, impossible to get through their gatekeeper phone service. Had stimulator trial and lead broke. This condescending doctor tried to blame it on me. That way he can charge my insurance to do it again. Wait time over an hour if you can get appointment. No concern for patients. Just all about the money. Running a legal pill mill. Don't go there, find a real doctor practicing real medicine. If I could rate zero stars I would.

Dr. Schaufele is compassionate and takes ample time to review your records and listens intently to your concerns. Most of all he is extremely qualified and intelligent. He went to school in Munich, Germany, Harvard and Emory. It doesn't get any better than that. The best neurosurgeon in the country, Dr Gerald Rodts highly recommended him to me.

Zero stars...for wasting my money time and effort.He told me that I was in the wrong place and there was nothing he could do for me......if that was the case, then why did he accept me as a patient after reviewing my paperwork? I don't understand it

I have been under Dr. Schsufele's care for about 15 months and completely satisfied with his approach. He has always taken his time with me and allows me to be as aggressive or conservative as needed with his input, When I need a procedure we do it, but I take a conservative approach to my PM and Doc is fine with it. I've been dealing with my spine and neck issues for 20 years (Ret. USMC) and couldn't be happier. Professional, straight to the point, and understanding. I won't go elsewhere. Dr. Schaufele is an EXCELLENT Dr. who cares about his patients, has empathy for your issues, doesn't make you feel like you are wasting his time. This Dr. actually reads the MRI you bring him, then compares it to the report to make sure what he is seeing is actually what is wrong with you. Does not take a report as gospel!. I agree that a report is interpretative of the technician reading the film, so different techs may see different things. A Dr. in that field should also be able to do so

When he was at the Emory Spine Center, Dr. Schaufele spent sufficient time with a patient to carefully explain their options for pain relief. Now in private practice, Dr. Schaufele spends as little time as possible with the patient. He once advocated a conservative approach, such as sufficient physical therapy. Now, in private practice, he pressures the patient to agree to an aggressive procedure, such as an two epidural injections. If the patient does not wish to agree, he tells the patient he has no time to continue to talk to the patient, and that the patient cannot be seen any longer in the practice. In addition, he reduces the patient's pain medicine in retaliation for the patient not agreeing to an immediate aggressive procedure. Perhaps Dr. Schaufele is under pressure to bring in the revenue that aggressive procedures bring. When he was at the Emory Spine Center, Dr. Schaufele spent sufficient time with a patient to carefully explain their options for pain relief.
