Very thorough and competent. Takes time to explain and answer questions. Treats you like you matter as an individual, not just a surgical case.

I was fortunate to get a referral to Dr. Rizzari for a failed attempt at a local hospital to remove my gall bladder. I was told after an open surgery that it would 'shrivel up and cease to function' in so many words by the doctor. This assessment did not materialize and I was back in hospital 4 weeks later with an infected gall bladder. Dr. Rizzari informed me that he would try to get it out laproscopically but that he'd probably have to open me up again. He was able to get it out laproscopically and I went home the next day. He is a bona fide medical genius as far as I am concerned, and his office staff is highly professional and treats one like a customer instead of just another case. I am highly indebted to him for getting this problem solved after 6 months for something that he could have solved in a week. Highly recommend this doctor and his staff.
