Hi my name is Yama Amin a patient of Dr Riojas. Mr Riojas is a great personality and a very polite person. He did my foot surgery. And he did a really great job. My foot was injured by an IED explosion in Afghanistan and ofter couple months I witnessed some unknown hard thing growing inside my toe. I've done three times surgery before Dr Riojas and noting changed. Dr Riojas find out very quickly what was wrong with my foot. Ofter Dr Riojas did the surgery now everything is getting better with my foots. I really appreciate Dr Riojas and his team.

Went to Dr. Riojas several years ago. Very compassionate, understanding and he listens to your questions and concerns. I wouldn't be walking without his expertise. Thank you,, Doc!

Dr. Riojas was the surgeon recommended to me by my podiatrist because he stopped doing surgeries. He did a bunionectomy and put a plate and some screws in to keep it from going back the way it was before. He is going to do my other foot here shortly. He is tentative, has a wonderful bedside manner, and even called me a couple days after my first surgery to check on me. I know I am in good hands with Dr. Riojas.

Excellent foot surgeon, he is smart and very personable. He talks to me in a way that I can understand, and he understands my situation, and explains my healing process well. I highly recommend Dr. Riojas. He also takes the time to answer my questions, and looks at me while he is speaking. He is a fabulous doctor, and so is his team. Thank you!!

My first visit with Dr Riojas went very well. He listened to me and new exactly what I was feeling in my foot. With ultra sound and x-ray, I got a quick honest diagnosis.

I saw Dr. Riojas for a 2nd opinion and I really liked him. He was friendly and very knowledgeable and I trust his judgment. His medical assistant was great and everybody at the clinic from check in to imaging were professional and friendly.

Dr. Riojas has treated both my husband and I. He is very kind, empathetic and a great listener. He also explains things well to his patients. He improved my husband's quality of life with an ankle surgery. I am sure my quality of life will be improved after my foot surgery which is tomorrow.

Dr. Riojas is so great! And he knows his stuff. He was the second doctor I saw and diagnosed a foot injury that wasn’t healing. He took the time to explain things to me in a way I would understand, but didn’t make me feel dumb. He is very thorough, friendly and kind and I would recommend him to anyone!

He had the best bed side matter I have every seen. He called me on a Sunday to check on me made me feel very special and that he cared.

I see Dr. Riojas currently. He fixed my foot and ankle. It required surgery but he explained everything in detail. He's very gentle and is very attentive to his patients. I recommended him to several people because he knows what he's doing. He offers lots of options to try before surgery if they are applicable to your situation.

If you have an ingrown toenail, Dr Riojas is great. Very nice. However he is not equipped to handle anything more than that. He removed a neuroma from between my toes. The wound continued to ooze for months before he decided to do another surgery to see if anything else was wrong. Still the wound oozed for more months, all the while I’m in excruciating pain. He said nothing was wrong and sent me to a wound clinic. It was semi closed then reopened and became unbearable. I texted him pictures and said I was at my wits end. He texted back telling me to go see a disease specialist and I never heard from him again. I went to a competent foot doctor who had to do 2 more surgeries to fix the damage he’d done. I’ve been making payments every month for his destructive surgeries and today I get a call that I’m in collections. As if ruining the last 2 years of my life is not enough. He has done 2 surgeries for me know ( left foot then right foot 2 summers) for bunions and hammertoes. I have been very happy with the process and will return if I need anymore work on my feet.

I was very fortunate that Dr Riojas Was the on call podiatry surgeon from sports medicine when I came to Valley Medical Emergency in Arlington with a shattered ankle. He shuffled his schedule to get me into surgery. After 3 hrs 2 plates and 12 screws he had me on a long road to recovery. He has a great bedside manner and is very personable gentleman on top of being an expert in his field. Very happy with Dr. Riojas from his 'bed-side' manner, but most importantly his diagnostic and surgical skills. While the clinic could do better in several areas, I am most pleased with my treatment and care from Dr. Riojas and highly recommend him.

Dr. Riojas is an excellent diagnostic physician who cares about a patient's treatment and well-being. After being given the run-around from other doctor/clinics for several months it was a great relief to be seen by specialist who knows feet! The medical center itself is easy to access and I was seen promptly. The center is pleasant and leaves patients with a positive feeling instead of left with the feeling that you are walking into a germ factory. My surgery went smoothly. I was in and out of the hospital within 3 1/2 hours, experiencing none of the ugly anesthesia after-effects. So far the follow-up care has been top notch. I can't wait to resume my active life as I have been sidelined due to this injury for the last five months. I would HIGHLY recommend this doctor and the hospital.

Simple bunionectomy, was a fail. By going to another Dr. I discovered I had a broken screw and a broken titanium plate!! Riojas knew of the breaks and never said a word about it. He did say i would return to him in months after the surgery " begging him" to take out the hardware. Its unacceptable that this doctor botches the first surgery, which then necessitates a second surgery! That's a guarantee of revenue in his pocket!! He is not a good surgeon. I recently visited Dr. Riojas s/p breaking my foot. I have been a nurse for 28 years-we are allegedly considered to be the "worse patients..EVER", but we can honestly tell good Drs from bad. I found him to be very professional, very knowledgeable and would recommend him to friends and family without hesitation. This was the first bone I have ever broken-he was patient with my multiple questions and explained everything quite well. Very friendly and helpful office staff who seem happy working for him. I see Dr. Riojas through his Arlington office. I was being treated for diabetic foot sore issues and was concerned about looming amputation. He gave me a plan to follow, which I did and surgery that saved my toe[s]. I appreciate the positive attitude he and his staff have. I was so scared on that first visit, they explained everything. I don't need to go back, my foot issue is healed. I won't hesitate to call him in the future.

Dr Riojas is the BEST. I have two severely deformed feet via bunions and he only does the newest and best technology that I've never heard of before. I just got home from the hospital yesterday and I know I was in excellent hands. Apparently I had bone removed from my toe brought up higher so I'd be symmetric along with a plate and five screws under the foot so I could immediately put pressure on it without having to use a walker or crutches. I just have to wear my boot. The thing that was most amazing about him is he understands that there is absolutely no way I thought it that's going to fix my foot and surgery would be the only way that was the best thing he could've said because I wholeheartedly believe that also. Great care with the provider but really bad customer service from his clinic. Promised product in 2 to 2 1/2 weeks, it took 2 months! Many, many phone calls went unanswered, only able to leave voice mails! Then he up and moved his clinic without even notifying his patients. No forwarding number! Then he wanted me to sign a form stating I only have 3 months to get any adjustments done..... I keep my product for 2 months!

He operated on my feet 25 yrs ago in lake mary, fl. Now my toes are in unequal lenghts, some are sideways and one in an S shape, and they no longer bend. I'm in pain everyday, with every step and nothing can be done about it without going through excruciating foot surgery again.

He has seen a few of my sons. They wrestle, play hoops & football. He's knowledgeable & has the best bed side manner of any doc I've worked with. He has taken such good care of my babies.

Dr. Riojas FIXED my very complicated case. I had surgery that went wrong when I was only 21,,,,it was terrible. I had been to countless doctors before I found Dr. Riojas. He was absolutely amazing...my foot is now healed...

2 surgeries in 4 months. He is excellent! great office team as well. I have worked in the medical feild over 35 yrs and he is TOP NOTCH! GENTLE KIND CARING I thank them and appreciate your great work. Ellen Denton
