Very thorough. Prepared. Knowledgeable about my childâs case. Reviewed all materials before we got there. Had a plan of attack ready to explain and had consulted with other doctors as well.
Just called the office and receptionist refused to make an appointment for this doctor. Reason given, my daughter's particular GI issues are something this doctor will normally just re-assign to other doctor as she is very particular about this sort of things. Now I clearly noted that there are other concerns which are documented on the referral paperwork, just didn't have the paperwork in front of me to be able to share. I am sure there are things that is in her area of expertise as she was recommended by my daughter's pediatrician. Anyway, Found this to be very unusual and a bit arrogant. I will not have my daughter seen by such doctor, off I go searching for a better GI Specialist. Just called the office and receptionist refused to make an appointment for this doctor. Dr. Pettei spends a lot of time with his patients and explains everything very thoroughly. He helped me transition to a gluten- free lifestyle when I was diagnosed with celiac disease. I recommend him to everyone.
