Difficult to get a response as to what time our appointment was for surgery. Then the phone system is just a voice message system with options, which is a terrible thing when your specialty is serving deaf people, especially when deaf people often use captioning phones that are not the fastest method of retrieving information. While we are waiting for the options to appear in the captions, the machine moves on to other options etcetera. They really need to give us more than a day's notice when to appear for surgery, especially when we are going to be arriving from out of town.

Dr. Michael Olds is the kind of doctor everyone would love to have. I experienced a stopped-up Eustachian tube and hearing loss in my left ear, with increasing severe headaches through the years. Other ear doctors had dismissed it as water in the ear from swimming or taking showers, with no further tests or follow-up. Dr. Olds was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to listen to me, run tests and identify what was causing my difficulties. His tests determined that I had a hole in my cranium that was leaking cranial spinal fluid into my ear canal. He recommended me to an excellent surgeon, and 2 months post-surgery I have no further difficulties with my left ear. For the first time in years, I have hear clearly and have no headaches related to fullness in the canal. You can tell Dr. Olds has a sincere interest in the wellbeing and recovery of his patients. I am forever grateful that out of all the potential ear doctors in the Spokane area, Dr Olds was the one I selected. I highly recommend him, and you too will appreciate his expertise, and the time and care he spends with his patients.

My first visit (from Tri-Cities). Dr. and support staff were friendly and supportive. Parking was a challenge. I was disappointed that a simple message I sent a week later via the patient portal was not read.

Best doctor, easy to talk to.

It took me 2-1/2 months to get in but once I was in they were great. I guess that is why it takes so long.

I have been taking my son here since he was born. 2 1/2 years and nothing but great experiences.

He always is friendly, answers my questions and takes good care of my ears. I'm glad he's my ear specialist.

Dr. Olds was amazing and was willing to work with me through everything that was happening with my ears!

Always pleasant meeting with Dr. Olds. He is very down-to-earth, and talks to his patients in laymen terms. Makes you feel like he has all the time in the world to talk to you.

Dr Olds is a very knowledgeable and strait forward doctor which I like. He reviews all info, past and present and is very courteous and kind. If you need an ENT Dr Olds is the best.

I found Dr. Olds very sincere and personable. He was thorough, asked questions, listened attentively, and developed his diagnosis. He was able to perform a relatively simple procedure which resolved my problem immediately. I will likely use him again in the future, and would recommend him highly to any of my friends and family.

Dr. Olds is the best surgeon and doctor in our opinion! Our son is deaf, and Dr. Olds gave him cochlear implants so he can now have the option to hear. His surgery was flawless with very minimal scarring, and he was meticulous. My son is 3 almost 4 and has a hard time with new people. Wearing new clothes. He has his style and that's it. From the day we met Dr Olds, I have felt my son was in good hands. Yesterday, my son underwent a tonsillectomy. Andenoidectomy, tibes put kn both ears and I asked them to do allergy tests while he was under. Dr Olds and his team were wonderful, patient, and understanding when it came to my son. They put his needs first and just entirely amazing. Thank you Spokane ENT and Dr Olds. Dr. Olds is everything you could want in a doctor. He is very caring and knows how to put patients at ease. He explains your condition and the possible remedies without overwhelming you with technical terms. Most importantly he listens to his patients and expertly deals with any issues.

Dr. Olds is a wonderful doctor! We've been going to him for years and he's performed 2 myringotomies on our little son. He is gentle, attentive, and highly skilled. We are so thankful for the good care he's provided!

I have a rare and rather debilitating condition and would not be making it through this without Dr Olds and Sam. Dr Olds is compassionate, caring and stays on top of the newest trends in treatment. He has made a huge difference in the quality of my life.

I've had several ear surgeries with Dr. Olds and have never had any complications. I've seen a lot of ENT doctors over the years and he is by far the best. I saw Doctor Olds today 04/04/2019 for the first time. He and his assistant Sam were fantastic. It went really fast and he had humor that put me at ease. He took his time and listened. I appreciate that very much in any Doctor!!!!

Dr. Olds took care of my 20 month old for severe obstructive sleep apnea. My husband and I were very nervous about the suggested tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, but Dr. Olds made us feel very comfortable about going forward with the surgery. After the surgery was complete, and about 3 weeks later, my little guy is sleeping through the night and no longer sounds like a mini truck driver snoring throughout the night. He is no able to eat food without sounding like he is choking on everything too!
