I had a very positive experience with my appointment with Dr. Netzel yesterday. He has been helpful to me with my asthma.

I'm very grateful that Dr. Netzel was able to explain allergies to me and comply with my (unreasonable) demands. I haven't gotten my results back yet but I already feel better.

I Presented to Dr Netzel after many months of pulmonary testing and treatments for my COPD by other physicians. I progressively got worse. He was going to be my second opinion so to speak. Without going into too much detail, he was my last resort. Without explanation my emphysema advanced to the point that I thought I had become terminal. He verified that all the meds I was on .

I started seeing him in the mid 1990's after having moved to the area. I have had asthma since early childhood and have taken maintenance medications since that time to manage my condition. Since I have had asthma for so long, I only require annual visits to go over how I've been, with the occasional need for unplanned incidents. Monroe is a small city and the clinic is closed weekends, but there are always nurses on call who can help if it is needed outside normal hours.

On my initial visit, Dr. Netzel seemed like a competent doctor, but he comes across as being condescending and uncaring. I did not return.
