He’s a great guy and easy to talk to. He diagnosed me correctly after years of another doctor trying to pigeonhole me with the wrong one! Only drawback is he runs late a lot.

I’ve been going to Dr. Mogerman for over 10 years and I thank god I found him. My previous psychiatrist had misdiagnosed me and I was a mess. Dr. M really listens and has a great personality to go with it! Highly recommend!

Wonderful doctor. I would give more stars if possible.

He is a really good doctor. A little heavy on the trying of new meds, but that is a journey you take with your doctor. I trust him. He won't push me to do anything I don't want to do. He will listen to me, though it takes a little nudging to get him to look up from his netbook. His office staff could use improvement. They can range from nice to irritated to forgetful- but he has an extremely busy practice- so that is not their fault, maybe he should slow down a little. I am happy with him, though. It's been over a year. I am sensitive to medications and he has done his level best to find something. I am rather picky. I started seeing him after leaving a psychiatrist of about 10 years and I am happy with Dr. Mogerman after just close to 2 years. edit: It's been a lot more than 2 years now. Anything I mentioned as needing improving has been improved. My mental state has improved under his care. You can;t be friends with your psychiatrist, but i would say I respect him in a similar way I would a colleague. It is 5 stars now. He is a really good doctor. Dr. Mogerman is absolutely the best psychiatric Dr. I have ever, ever had. He is professional in every sense of the word. I have moved out of the area, and travel back to Buffalo to keep him as my Dr. I refuse to give up this wonderful doctor. It is worth it to me because the doctors I have had in the past were only brief moments to assess my medication needs. My last doctor didn't recognize me after at least two years. That is only a small item. This doctor is approachable anytime.

I made a good choice selecting Dr. Mogerman. He and his staff provide professional, caring, and expedient services. The office environment fosters healing with simplified feng shui design. Elements of wood, water, fire, metal, and earth surrounding by soft classical music promotes balance, harmonious energy and peace. Dr. Mogerman and his staff are awesome!

Dr. Mogerman saved my life. Yes, there is a lot of tweeking when take meds. I YOUR job to let him know exactly what is going on. It is NOT his job to figure it out on him own.I have been with him for at least 10 years. I love him and would never say a bad thing about him. He is also the only dr I have ever met who does talk therapy, and not just a pill pusher. He can't read minds. You have to tell him everything that is going on, and how you feel. Please do not go to see this man. It took me six months of detoxing off of his ridiculous amount of medications he prescribed in order for me to start feeling like I did before I ever met him. I took a look back at my records of medications that he prescribed and I was disgusted. This man loaded me up on anti-psychiotics for "anxiety" without having any diagnosis of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. (I have had other doctors convince me I did not need these.) I was on 6 mgs of Xanax a day, which really turned out to be more like 7 or 8 because he was refilling my prescriptions about every 13 days. I spent a week in ECMC detox on anti seizure medications for the Xanax (If you thought you were going crazy before, try getting off of Xanax.) At one point he prescribed 20mgs of Adderall 3x daily. I do not have ADD or ADHD, and even if I did, NO ONE needs that amount of medication. I have requested my records six months ago, still have yet to get them. The longer I have been away from Dr. Mogerman and off of his cocktail of medications the better I feel. He made me sick. It seems he has made a name for himself in this area within the medical field, since addiction specialists seem to know his name quite well. Please do not let your child, mother, father, sister or brother see this person. Please do not go to see this man.
