Pre-op & Post-op visits are only with his PA or NP. First time you meet the doctor is right before surgery. Did part of the surgery I approved then in the recovery room told me he wanted to do an additional procedure & I had to sign consent for that there. So I had to go under & recover twice in same day from surgeries. He never came to talk to me after my second surgery. They never informed my family on the results of either surgery or communicated at all with them the entire time. Due to Covid, they couldn’t be there and were very concerned when I was supposed to be done in 3 hours and weren’t called until 10 hours later. After surgery, I could no longer open my eye wide which I believe was damage to the nerve in my forehead from the second surgery. When I called to question doctor on what could be done about that, the nurse said the PA said I have no nerves in that area of my head. But my symptoms exactly match the type of nerve injury that can be caused by this surgery.
