Dr. Michael Zane Mcbride

I went to my appointment with Dr McBride in early October expecting to speak with Dr McBride about numerous dental implants needed. Instead was met with Dr Thai - probably misspelled but pronounced 'Thai'. I'm not sure if she was a doctor or a clinician. And as best as I could determine, she has little to no experience in oral surgery. The office makes a big deal out of being 'Medicare certified'. This is BS in my opinion based on other dentists I have seen who also provide medical billing here in San Diego County. Every dentist I have spoken with who offer Medicare billing use an outside 3rd party to do the medical billing for them. Dr McBride's third party biller - Moore Martini Medical - mooremartinimedical.com - provides the absolute least amount of financial coverage. By being 'Medicare Certified', the inference is that they have some authority in knowing what Medicare will and will not pay for and it's just not true. Any dental office can offer Medicare billing.

Worst patient care!!! This dental practice is only about obtaining as much money as possible from your dental insurance and not about providing quality dental patient care. As a disabled veteran being sent through the VA community care program my experience with Dr. McBride from my initial visit was a complete disappointment on how he treats patients. My enamel erosion (due to GERD and acid reflux) was accused by Dr. McBride towards taking opioids which I have never taken even after explaining my medical condition. Next due to his billing office not submitting the correct information to the VA, my appointments were rescheduled. Lastly they had me waste my time thinking I had an appointment, only to be told he had not received payment from the VA and that I needed to work with his billing staff about contacting the VA and getting reimbursed and no treatment was rendered. Truly disappointed being treated as a second class citizen after serving our country for 26 years

Dr. McBride is the best dentist I have had in over 50 years. The office staff are very professional and friendly and the on site lab puts out excellent workmanship and quality. Dr. McBride is a very nice guy who really cares for his patients. Would rate 6 stars if I could.

Dr. McBride is a great dentist. I really felt like he cared about me. I didn't feel like he was just trying to get my money. He gave me a few options and let me choose - even though he strongly suggested one specific procedure. His staff is really great, too! They remember your name, and take time to talk to you. He is the only dentist I will go to.

This Dr. seemed to be legite but after a crown was not done correctly and I had and endodontist do a root canal and went to new dentist and they both said I need the crown redone. Sent over verified documentation that I needed crown redone and will not do it. I have exhausted my insurance and will have to pay $1350 to get the crown redone. Do not go to him unless you have money that can grow on trees!

5 hours in chair for dental work he would not guarantee that I must now pay over $10,000 to replace. Will not refund what other dentists have diagnosed as substandard work done by Dr. McBride that is jeopardizing my health. Very inexperienced with Crowns.
