Dr. Michael J Mangan

Dr. Mangan is probably a good a good doctor. But from my view is nothing but gloom an doom. He never has a good thing to say only bad. I never feel better after seeing him only more worried.

This is the grumpiest doctor I've ever met. He has the bedside manner of a testy old house cat; and maybe its time he reevaluate why he became a physician or work in a lab where he doesn't come into contact with patients who truly need his help. I would not with a good conscience refer any of my friends or colleagues to him as I'm sure there MUST be friendlier physicians in his group.

did not listen to anything i had to say, didn’t care to offer me help for my disease. kept trying to leave the room before i could even ask my questions.

Dr. Mangan was selected by a highly medical group to find leaks for a problem to skillfully examined the area around aorta valve. He also located and stopped bleeding in my intestines For many decades he has conducted regular examined my lower intestines and fixed problems.

Very impatient, started walking out the door while asking him questions and he stood with his foot holding the door open while rushing through the answers. I'm pretty sure there's a good case against them for predatory billing, will find out for sure Tuesday, March 24.

I’ve been struggling with IBSD for nearly 10 years and finally decided to see a specialist and went to see Dr. Mangan. When I discussed all the treatment options I’ve tried and found no results, he insisted that over the counter anti-diarrhea pills would work while I assured him they had stopped working for me for some time. He treated me as if I was a child (I’m a younger looking 24 yo) and berated me saying that the OTC medication would work if I took it. He dismissed my chronic diarrhea after EVERYTHING I ATE and brushed it off as if I was crazy. While I can no way peer into his pea sized brain, I would imagine one might find sexism, ageism and an inferiority complex the size of Texas. This man shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine, as my mother said, anyone who would voluntarily shove cameras up buttholes certainly has more than a few things wrong with them.

I would not recommend Dr. Mangan for a procedure with a digestive problem.. His personal mannerism is cold, abrupt, condescending, and lacks professionalism as a doctor who has been given the opportunity to perform very important procedures on a patient. Any concerns or questions that I had were "shot down immediately" with arrogant, almost angry responses that gave the impression of "why would you ask a stupid question like that! He may be intellectually informed about how to perform a procedure, but he certainly lacks the professional emotional intelligence to confer with patients. IQ is not as desirable as EQ when a physician is given the opportunity to help heal a patient. I would never use him again for a procedure. I advise you take a family member who has the ability to stand up to his arrogant unconcerned discussion related to procedures. I still have not received the results of my pathology report or feedback from procedure. Choose another doctor if you use the Digestive Disease Clinic for your health issues. I would not recommend Dr. Mangan for a procedure with a digestive problem.. He's knowledgeable and knows his information. However he's not very patient. Doesn't really allow the patients to get all the answers they're looking for. Doesn't express what he thinks the problem is with the patient's symptoms which can get a little frustrating if you're a worried patient. He clearly knows his material but he's just not helpful in explaining the issues to his patients and just says to wait for test results.

This place is full of jerks! The doctors don't care about people or their health, especially Dr. Mangan. Find a different gastroenterologist!
