Bad attitude. Left me feeling like I had done something wrong. I was sent to him regarding my back and cervical problems. he was upset and demanding to know why I was even there ??? His raised agitated voice, and his bad attitude are enough o make me not want to ever see him again.

Absolutely AWFUL! Went for a workman's comp claim. I left work with severe neck pain. I had numbness in my extremities. I was off work and waiting anxiously for this appointment. He walked in, asked me nothing and said there was nothing he could do. He looked at my MRI, confirmed I had a disc herniation and degeneration, yet still denied that there was any need for surgery. He did maybe three brief extension exercises to confirm this. I have had more complete exams for my CDL. I was dismissed. I endured horrible pain and loss of feeling for almost a year until I had enough time off to get a second opinion. I DID NOT involve workman's comp this time. The new doctor looked a the same MRI, and I was in surgery in less than 2 months and, while I am still in recovery, it cured ALL of my ailments. I was in very real pain that was left untreated for a very long time because of his flippant denial. I wound up off work for over 3 months with no treatment. I would rate a zero if I could.

If you're a Veteran on VA choice, don't waste your valuable time with this doctor.

Dr. Malos is to the point, no fluff, calm and is patient in answering my questions. My back surgery went well and prognosis is good. I am happy to have chosen Dr. Malos for my care. And hats off to everyone who assisted him.

Dr. Malos is a very competent, caring neurosurgeon. I needed emergency back surgery last December, and I was very fortunate to have him as my surgeon. He is straightforward and candid in providing medical information before your surgery. I am so thankful that my recovery is going well.

Outstanding! My husband had a tumor in his brain that was discovered during an emergency room visit. Dr. Malos reviewed the MRI results even before seeing us and his office called to make the appointment...the next day. Surgery followed two days after that. There were some complications that required a second surgery. Through it all Dr. Malos was honest, straightforward, caring and reassuring. He listened. I instantly felt that I could trust him. My husband's recovery is going smoothly.
