Dr. Michael Malizzo saved my life after a spinal surgery gone wrong.

Michael Malizzo is the best pain management MD I've been to in years.

I have been seeing Dr. Malizzo for spine injections for at least five years. Although spine injections are not fun, his technique is superior to other providers that I have used so that the injections are much easier on me as a patient. The staff is unfailingly friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend this provider.

One star = negative 5 stars. I have a malpractice suit pending against Malizzo. That is why Davita just now sent the bill for his botched procedures: my insurance provider rejected the charges because they don't compensate the patient for botched procedures. I would avoid this so-called "doctor" and Davita the House of Torture & Pain. Especially if he's practicing from his jail cell. One star = negative 5 stars. I would follow Malizzo anywhere! Very professional and has helped me so much with pain via injections. Very gentle and great bedside manner

I told him I'm under-responsive to local analgesics and need extra time for them to kick in. He rolled his eyes and said he's sick of people thinking that's a real thing. I felt the entire spine shot. I still have nightmares about it. It left me with a headache and blurred vision that lasted weeks, and they kept telling me to wait it out. He was extremely dismissive. On my last visit there, I left him a list of PubMed articles about the insufficient effects of local analgesics in people with my condition. I hope he saw it. I'm sure he's great at something, but I hope I never run into him again. He's unwilling to communicate.

We are leaving the practice! Care plans are not being carried out as prescribed by the dr. Kyle, the Nurse practitioner has set a plan in place for my husband. This plan is now no where in notes now. Makor lack in communication. Unbelieveable lack of care. The change of staff, now with only 1 dr aboard, the ability to achieve anything BUT what is conducive to good care. They do not manage pain.. Literally waiting for months for anything to get done with insurance adjuster. If you go here, plan on doing the leg work yourself.

I am being fair and objective. This person is probably ok if the patient does not have anything that requires a little extra thinking in diagnosing the problem as he cannot think out of the box. He also has a temperment problem when you expect something more from him regarding an explanation. He needs anger management. So, if you have an issue that is easily diagnosed , he's probably ok. Two stars , I'll say.

This was my first lumbar injection. I was very frightened since I did not know what to expect. Dr. Malizzo's demeanor put me at ease. He answered my questions and explained what he was doing each step of the way. I found him friendly and competent.

First time patients DEFINITELY !!! need to know how to find this facility .

Dr. Malizzo has been helping me for years as part of my team of doctors. My only complaints are location, location, location. They have the Pain and Spine clinic all the way in the back of the building. It always reminds me to appreciate irony. It seemed much easier to get to at the old location on Homestead.

I feel that the doctors here are not as helpful as they could be. I was completely upset after I was asked to write on a scale 1 - 10 my pain. I put 8. My doctor went back after my met with her and put down 4 on the paper work I was asked to fill out. When I am sitting down my pain is manageable. But walking 30 feet is unbearable. I simply don't feel I am taken seriously. I don't write bad reviews but I feel when it comes to pain health and body. I should give heads up. I am sure they have helped many. But not in my case.. Also. . Don't run more then 4 min late. They will write you off for a no call no show. Google sent me to a gate that was not open. So I had to drive 2.5 miles therefore running late and not able to make my appointment. I have never had this happen at other places. All and all I really ever give bad review. When you deal with pain people should not have to go through learning curves. It's costly and time consuming. I would strongly suggest going to a different company. I will not be back. Went to this doctor after a three month wait to get an epidural shot to my spine. I have a ruptured disk and two cracked vertebrae. He spent two minutes with me, jabbed the shot in and pumped it so fast that it sent me into convulsions. He walked out of the room fast Just said ok your done as he left not even looking at me. The nurse in the room said I could get up and leave. I couldn't get up at all. I was convulsing Honestly I thought I was going to die. Don't go there! EVER!

This doctor does not have a timely, efficient, and trustworthy follow up process. I had serious leg cramps for a week after injection, now I am having serious nerve pain in left leg. All subsequent to the injection I received. Called Dr Malizzos office and received a callback from his nurse, I do not pay for nurse care, I pay for doctor care and I refuse to spend more money on a situation created by the injection.
