Best Endocrinologist ever, grate customer service.

I went to see Dr. Michael Lin since 2013. My A1C is always above 7 and I have numb feet and high proteinuria. Dr. Lin thought it does not matter and did nothing. 2022 I have numb and swollen hands and feet. My urine looks like water after Dr. Lin changed the dosage of Repaglinide from 0.5 to 2.0. to lower my after meal blood sugar. I told Dr. Lin, his answer is to find another doctor. He saw me f 5 to 10 minutes each visit, but he billed Medicare for 30 minutes. He did not explain the abnormal part of test report that he ordered, so what the test for? I also found out Repaglinide is not to lower after meal blood sugar and it harm kidney, why he subscribed for me? The doctor's notes I got from him are on scratch paper and are not what he wrote when he saw me, why? I went to see Dr. Michael Lin since 2013. Dr. Lin is a great endocrinologist he has helped me with my diabetes for several years now.

I saw Dr. Michael Lin since 2013. He was very brief, talked sweet, and over polite. My AIC is always 7+, I have numb hands and feet, Proteinuria is always out of ranch. He considered I am fine. Recently I have urine problem, I requested a complete medical record for second opinion, he gave me one page medical summary. I requested again he got mad and wrote something on the used physical exam paper, very special. 2nd opinion doctor diagnosed me 3rd level kidney disease close to dyliasis. If you do not want to end up with dialysis or amputation stay away from him.

I have seen Dr. Lin over six years, he is very brief. The blood test report he only saw AIC and ignored all other abnormal resalts. When AIC is high, he changed medicine to high dosage, he did not care the reaction. I had to asked him to use insulin to reduce my blood sugar from 7+ for many years to 6+ recently. I asked him about high Proteinuria, he did not do anything. About a year he did not do urine test for me, recently my urine looks like water, I have to wait to see nephrology myself. I also informed him that I have numb feet, he did not do anything or say anything. Recently I have numb hands too, I am worry about dialysis and amputation.

Found Doctor Lin via Yelp. He is well worth the reviews. He can speak English. Great bedside manners, very good communicator and willing to educate and help you understand what he can help with. I believe he has experience with autoimmunity patients. You can take elevator or stairs to his office. Level P is probably level 4? Free parking on the street. Dr Michael Lin and his staff are outstanding...Dr Lin takes the time to listen to your questions and he gives responses that can be understood...none of that $100-a-word stuff other doctors use...just plain easy to understand directions...Dr Lin also takes the time to go over your lab tests and suggests a course of action then he follows up to see if there needs to be more modifications. His office staff are very pleasant, professional, and efficient. Friendly, a good listener, willing to try different approaches, expert on diabetes including the insulin pump. Friendly staff with excellent customer service.

Dr. Lin is highly intelligent and up to date. He has been very effective in helping me to bring by blood sugar levels from the highly dangerous down to nearly controlled. I would recommend him to diabetes patients will elevated A1C.
