I had my cataract surgery in Feb and one week later I am thrilled with the results. I had vision problems with my left eye so was very nervous about any surgery on my right eye. But it is the best thing I could have done. Dr. Levitt and his staff were very understanding of my apprehension and helped me all the way through. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

I was initially referred to Dr. Levitt by my retina specialist. Dr. Levitt performed a cataract surgery on my left eye in 2018 and then a YAG surgery on that same eye in 2019. He recently performed a cataract surgery on my right in 2022 and my eyesight has improved dramatically. I had 25/20 vision when I first visited Dr. Levitt and today I have 20/20. Yes I am very happy with the results of these procedures and I strongly recommend Dr. Levitt to anyone who has vision issues.

I recently had cataract surgery by Dr. Levitt and am thrilled with the results. I now have 20/20 vision and don’t need glasses at all! No more searching for my glasses when I need to read something! Dr. Levitt and his staff have been wonderful. You won’t go wrong letting him handle your eye needs.

New to the Tampa area, I choose Dr. Levitt after a referral from another physician in the area. His background and training in glaucoma made him a good choice. I had already been diagnosed needing cataract surgery before moving here, but due to timing, could not have it done. I am extremely pleased with my experience. Had both tear duct lasers and cataract surgery on both eyes, with excellent results. Dr. Levitt was very concerned and made me comfortable with the procedures and resolved any questions I had. l appreciate a physician who takes that time. Also his staff was excellent, friendly and competent. I was traveling during this period for work, and they were very accommodating. I had to reschedule a couple of times to my work schedule and travel, and they worked with me. Over all they work as a team and made the care flow seamlessly.

Long, long wait times. Sat in exam room 45 minutes before anyone came in. Had door adjar due to claustrophobia and cleaning person informed me I couldn’t keep it open and was ugly about it. Found a better doctor and signed form to send my records over. Life is too short at older ages to spend such a long time waiting.

Recently I needed to have cataract surgery. Dr. Levitt was highly recommended by the retina specialist I had been seeing. Dr. Levitt was extremely professional and very thorough. My two surgeries were comfortable and successful. It was quick and pain free. The healing process was easily maintained. Today I can see 20:20 out of both my eyes minus glasses. Needless to say I am a fan of Dr Levitt.

Doctor was not helpful. My father requested new prescription for eye drops due to irritation the Dr did not help nor listen to his concerns. Bedside manner was not good. Front desk receptionists were rude.

Doctor & staff very professionals however waiting time is awful. My appointment was 2:30. I arrived around 2 & they said as soon as we get a room & closer to my apt we'll call you, 2:28 asked Did you forget about me? now is 3:30 & I'm still waiting. Horrible

Dr. Levitt and his staff are professional and friendly. All questions were answered without hestitation and to my satisfaction. All options were explained and I felt confident with my decision. At 3 months out , I have 20/20 vision and I am extemely happy with my results.

Went to Dr. Levitt for an upper eyelid infection after his staff confirmed that he treated same. However, at my appointment I was given an eye exam, even though I reminded them I was there for an eyelid infection and that i'd had an eye exam just 4 months prior. When I finally saw Dr. Levitt he told me I had 20/20 vision and didn't know what my problem was. I reminded him I was there for a eyelid infection that occurred after a lift surgery I'd had 2 months prior (due to droopy-lid vision impairment). He never looked at my inflamed upper tear duct and just referred me to a plastic surgeon friend of his instead. He did NOTHING for my infection then had the nerve to request a follow-up visit. For what??? He did NOTHING. Save your money....He doesn't listen or care.

Fabulous office procedure to comply with more-than-recommended COVID protocol. Wait in car until room is available; met at the door with an IR temp reading, chairs carefully marked (4 or 5) for folks who are waiting for a patient or whatever. I've seen Dr. L for the last year and a half or so after an acute onset of floaters in mid-2019. Every appointment has been fabulous. His assistants are knowledgeable, really engaged, and very professional. Then Dr. L examines you and discusses his assessment with you. Absolutely encourages questions and I never had the impression he was hurried. He's just a top-notch professional. I'm not an ophthalmologist, I'm a lawyer. Don't know eyes, but I can tell when somebody's top shelf. I always found the front desk folks to be polite--they've got a tough job. As a patient, I try to be as nice as possible to the folks up front, who aren't making the big bucks and can't work from home.

Dr. Levitt is board certified knowledgeable, detailed professional. He is personable while maintaining his professionalism. He puts his patents at ease when explaining issues and makes them feel most important. His staff is of the upmost knowledgeable staff seen in the profession. At times, it may seem that there are too many patients in the waiting room, but when you are being examined all "eyes" are on you and your needs. My experience with Dr. Levitt started with my mom. He performed two cateract surgeries on her, made sure she followed up with a retania specialist, and provided the care and follow-up needed. When I was referred to an ophthalmologist, there was no question that I would schedule with Dr. Levitt. He was performed two laser iridotomies on me. He was percise and had excellent follow-up process. I highly recommed Dr. Levitt and his staff.

I had cataracts that needed to be removed and, after a coworker at my daughter's job recommended Dr. Levitt I went and he and his staff treated me so well from day one. With each eye taken care of the doctor himself and the staff followed up and made sure any and all questions and concerns I had were fully addressed. The staff are courteous and professional, and Levitt is very concerned with the well being of his patients.

I found Dr Levitt after my former eye doc's office was in the habit of making me wait up to three hours for my appointments. Dr Levitt's personnel are efficient and respectful of my time; in six years of being his patient i don't think i have ever waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. I have a couple of eye problems and the doctor is always very careful to explain my situation and patiently review my condition. He calls in my Rx on time and is diligent in caring for my eye condition as well as always remembering to ask after my family and my personal activities: he is caring, professional, empathetic, and smart-- exactly what we all need in our doctors.

Dr Levitt recently performed a difficult surgery because of an oblong shaped cornea transplant. He took his time to assure the best outcome and successful proceedure. He has saved my sight on more than one occasion. Highly recommend you see him for cateract and eye pressure issues. His staff is well trained and extreemly helpful.

WORST OFFICE EVER. HUGE breakdown between billing office and patient. Be careful, three years later you'll receive a $438 bill that you're responsible for and they will NOT work with you or return your phone calls. Very sad.

I was at the brink of losing my sight (after years of visiting other eye specialists and thousands of $ spent) when I was finally referred to Dr. Levitt in the Spring of 2018. From the moment I walked into the office (no clue at this point who the doctor is), I knew I was in the right place. The office staff were courteous, friendly, and highly trained professionals! When I finally met Dr. Levitt, it was like he knew me before I got there. The only reasonable conclusion I came to was that he'd taken his time to study my medical record and history. After a warm friendly welcome and professional hand shake, and a brief chat, he told me exactly the plan without mincing words. When I decided I was going to see another doctor due to travel plans, one of Dr. Levitt's assistants in particular would not stop calling to remind me the importance of seeing another doctor for a follow-up. As she puts it - "I don't want you to lose your sight." Whao!!! Due to this singular act, I decided not to entrust my eye care to anyone else but Dr. Levitt and his staff; even at an added travel cost cross-country! So we went back to the original plan (the doctor recommended). Fast forward to today, after the recommended surgery, I have gone from using 4 different eye drops and an oral medication (totalling about $300 per month) to using nothing, zero, none, "nada", NO medication at all! Dr Levitt and his entire staff are exceptional. He has been treating my glaucoma for over two years and just operated on my cataracts. I was thrilled to find out I could continue having monovision with the lenses Dr Levitt inserted. Even with the lasik done 12 years ago, my vision is now 20/20! I highly recommend Dr Levitt.

Dr. Levitt does things the right way. He has an efficient practice management, and he combines that with deep expertise and a comfortable and friendly professional demeanor. He is a strong recommendation for people looking for a professional, friendly, efficient eye practice.

I can see better today than I have since I was 12! (And that was a long time ago!) Dr. Levitt took care of cataracts in both of eyes with great care & professionalism. Everything was simple & easy and the entire staff was great. Don't trust your eyes to anyone else.

Dr. Levitt performed cataract surgery on both eyes earlier this year. In the process, he corrected my vision to 20/20 using monovision -- right eye for distance, left eye for close work such as reading and computer. I was sent to Dr Levitt by my Doctor at St. Luke. I had very high pressure and pain in my eyes. My peripheral vision had been restricted due to pressure on the optic nerve. A very serious situation. Under Dr Levitt’s Care I now have this insidious disease under control. He is a very skilled eye surgeon . I was lucky to have found him. His office is very nice. Well, to preface the situation, I am a nightmare to most eye doctors. Lets see,(that's a nice goal) I have glaucoma (17 years) , Parkinson's (9 yrs), extreme dry eye, cataract lens implants. After his excellent staff gathered information. Dr. Levitt treated me with respect and asked probing questions and performed tests to give him a better understanding of my case. I have seen Dr. Levitt numerous times over the last few years for a variety of on going eye issues. He came highly recommend to me by my retina doctor. I have always found Dr. Levitt knowledgeable and very professional. Although very busy, he has always taken the time to answer all my many questions and provide me with excellent care.

Dr. Levitt performed my cataract surgery recently (Jan '19). My friends told me I would be pleased with the results, but I was truly amazed at the improvement in my vision. I am slightly better than 20-20 and I only really need reading glasses when using my iPhone. Dr. Levitt and staff were true professionals. I was informed of the procedure in detail and they left no question unanswered. The scheduled procedure and recovery were smooth and my recovery was complete.

Dr. Levitt and his staff have been absolutely outstanding in eye care and I am recommending them to everyone I know.

Dr. Levitt first saw me at 4PM on a Friday afternoon on an immediate referral from my regular eye specialist due to very high pressure in my right eye. Did an in office procedure to reduce pressure and has continued to follow me for over two years to maintain a healthy pressure level. Very thorough, listens to you and explains what is happening. Always confirms that he can be reached anytime if needed. Occasionally there is a wait as he handles urgent cases, but its worth it.

Dr. Levitt is a very caring, compassionate, doctor!! He and his staff have helped me through a very unsettling health issue. I would certainly recommend this doctor, and his staff to anyone wanting excellent eye care.

We initially came to the office due to my husband being diagnosed with glaucoma. He was told he could lose his vision and Dr. Levitz operated him rather quickly. However, this did not help and a second surgery was performed. Unfortunately, even after the two procedures, my husband has followed up with him but is still not fine. They have changed his medication many many times without significant improvement. He is charged 150 each time he visits eventhough this is a follow up to the procedures performed without improvement. We can not afford this continued charge for same problem. I have called twice now and explained that he needs to see the doctor because he has severe eye pain and his vision is blurred and we were told this could lead to vision loss, but no one has called us back nor do they care that he is losing his vision. Will be going to a different Doctor and office team that really cares about his patients and really provides solutions. It is an abuse to continue charging us for follow ups for a problem he was unable to fix. My husband works hard to have to pay the doctor 15% of his salary for follow up on the same thing every month. Sad to see how the times have changed on patient care. Dr. Levitt is a true professional, the wife was nervous with only one functioning eye. She was not looking forward to someone operating on it. Dr. Levitt and his crew put her at ease and gave us clear instructions on the preparation needed both pre and post op.. We followed his instructions to the letter knowing that we need to keep the risk low of anything going wrong. He has followed up with her post recovery. Wife has 20-20 vision in her one functioning eye now. and is amazed at how the colors stand out and how light things are now. Dr Levitt Is the best-of the best! I have always had such a great experience with all of our visits. He so thorough and really takes his time with his patients. He worked with my son who ultimately needed glasses and really took the time to sit down with him, explain everything thoroughly and answer any and all questions we had. An Excellent outcome in both eyes for cataract surgery. The procedure was an easy, painless and very comfortable experience. Dr Levitt is a very effective, professional with talent and experience that was better than I expected. The outpatient clinic was very efficient and comforting and was always pleasant to deal with. Very pleased to get back to 20/20 at my young age of 69.

In January I had my cataracts removed by doctor Levitt and had wonderful results. My experience with the whole process was very good. I like Doctor Levitt and his competent staff. Everybody is friendly and very professional! Pick this doctor and you are in very good hands!
