Cancelled my appointment 3 hrs before appointment, 25 min late seeing me in waiting room yet I was only patient I saw in waiting room, told me they would provide a refurral by end of of day , then one week later after 1/2 phone in take questions and over 1 hour session with a nurse practitioner I was told to see a different doctor . I told them up front what I needed and why . I drove over two hours in the car to see dr. Lax and when I got there was told no I would see nurse practitioner instead. I was told magic Mike would review my profile with a team later in the week with out me present. Guess he is too important to actually meet his patients but not to busy to bill them . My reg doctor was going to be out for a long time so I decided to see if Dr. lax would help oversee my medicine and care during this time. I found he and his PA were very thorough, gave suggestions I hadn't heard before and we're friendly. My healthcare is complex, so this wasn't easy but they were able to make sense of it all.

Dr. Lax came very highly recommended from a family friend. We drove to see him from 3 hours away, and we're so glad we did! My husband is finally getting the help he needs! Dr. Lax figured out very quickly what he needed and sent him to specialists to helpanage his ongoing pain. Thank you Dr. Lax!
