Terrific group of practitioners and staff from Dr. Lawrence to the receptionist. Boston quality care but local to the south area in my 36 years of being their patient.

Disappointing experience. Dr. Lawrence is condescending and rude. He's one of those doctors who thinks he can say anything he wants just because he is a doctor. During my appointment he told me to call him anytime with questions. A couple of days after I had a couple of questions so I called the office asking to speak to him and was told doctors don't normally take questions. Well then why is one of your doctors offering the opportunity for me to call him? Don't say it if you don't do it. They said they would get the message to him anyway and have him call me back. Then for some reason another staff called me back and I said I need to talk to him so she said ok he'll call you back. I then made one more follow up call and they said he would call me back but he never did. This was over a month ago. I don't recommend. Disappointing experience. Not sure why there were two 1 star reviews for this doctor / practice as I had a completely different experience. The staff were very friendly, seemed happy, joked around to keep things light (having an allergy test is not fun!). Yes, there is a lot of paperwork, but nothing unmanageable for a new patient. The test took a long time because you have to wait for the reactions to occur, but they test for several things at once (16 on each arm). It's true that you don't see the doctor for very long, but honestly there is no need. He has the results of the tests, and he makes his recommendations based on those. Dr Lawrence was very friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to care about me as a patient. I am set to begin a treatment plan so if I encounter any of the problems others have reported I will update this review, but as a first encounter I cannot fault any of the people who work at this practice. My husband had to go in for allergy testing this morning. It's not exactly a comfortable experience in the best situation. However, when we arrived, we were able to do our paperwork and be seen in minutes. The nurses who cared for him in-between tests and administered the tests were very sweet. They chatted with both of us and made us feel at ease. It's a good thing too, because he's allergic to everything. We left the testing area and were asked to sit in the waiting room for the doctor. We sat for maybe two minutes before our named was called. The doctor was waiting for us in the hall and called us into his office, where he shook both of our hands and joked that I was my husband's bodyguard (he likes me to come in with him because of boredom and I'm better at remembering stuff to tell the doc). He asked sincerely how we were treated, and was adamant that we let him know if we have any problems. We'll be in to see him quite a lot over the next few months, so we're happy to see he's very friendly, as our his staff members. My husband had to go in for allergy testing this morning.
