Dr. Michael Richard Kaplan

This was my 1st time seeing an allergist. Dr Kaplan and his staff were very quick to put my mind at ease and the tests were quick and painless. He has excellent bedside manner and spent a lot of time with me. If you are looking for an allergist he is definitely worth the wait.

After my allergy test, Dr.Kaplan taught me about all of the options i had for feeling better day to day. He broke down the science for me and explained on a cellular level how the allergies, medications and immunotherapy work in the body. Being highly knowlegeable and experenced, i definitely recommend a visit to Dr. Kaplan if allergies have been causing any issues for you.

Dr Kaplan and his staff are amazing. I walked in about a supposed allergy I thought I had for over 15 years to find out I'm not allergic and went on to explain strawberries and tomatoes can cause allergy symptoms with no real allergy. He was very informative and very easy to talk to. He and his staff made sure I understood and walked me through all the steps we took to complete my exam.

Dr. Kaplan and his wonderful staff took amazing care of my 4 year old daughter. He did everything imaginable to make sure she was comfortable for the testing and he spent a lot of time reviewing the results. I am truly grateful for all he and his clinic did and wish them best of luck in retirement from the Navy.

Dr. Kaplan spent a lot of time explaining to me about the difference between an allergy and intolerance. I really appreciate him.

Dr. Kaplan is an Outstanding allergy doctor. My struggles with allergies and asthma started in my adult years. Dr. Kaplan worked with me until we found the treatment plan that worked. I cannot say enough good comments about Dr. Kaplan and his staff. I wish he wasn't retiring!

After 30 years of thinking that I had allergies I found out why all the allergy medications I have tried failed! Turns out I have another condition that behaves like allergies but isnt. Fortunately, Dr. Kaplan, was able to figure it out and recommend a treatment plan that actually works! Awesome visit. Great Doctor.

I had COVID and then developed Pneumonia and the medical team wanted me to a penicillin but I was always told to avoid because I was allergic. Thanks to Dr. Kaplan and his staff - not only did he save my life he confirmed I wasn't truly allergic to Penicillin. Highly recommend to all.

Dr Kaplan is arrogant,he was not really helping with my situation by not listening to my concerns about my health problem ; very dismissive and quick make assumption and judgment about my intention to comply with my med- treatment. I would not see him ever again.

Caring and Compassionate doctor. He took the time to understand my concerns and helped me to find relief.

He was very dismissive and rude. I would not recommend him to anyone. I had to take 2 of my children to him. One for allergic reactions to 3 different antibiotics and one for severe mouth swelling after eating certain foods. We were told by him that being allergic to antibiotics is a myth unless you have anaphylactic shock. Also told by him that an 18 yr old does not “all of a sudden” become allergic to things. He also stated in both cases that his children have the same reactions. Highly doubt

Dr Kaplan was very professional. He explained thoroughly my need to change allergy medications. He encouraged me to request additional referrals to address my other medical needs. I trust Dr Kaplan to provide honest medical advice.
