Mr. Michael H. Heit

You people need to know these doctors are hard to find all over the country only 3or4any where in Indiana .at least they can fix it and your gonna get fixed this condition is us country wide .everyone I know has these conditions from east coast to west stop complaining and give some credit here you don't want to be like this forever

I went to see Dr Heit about my long standing bladder problems. He was very kind . He explained the surgery I need very thoroughly. His office staff was very professional. Morgan who did my testing was absolutely great. I was very apprehensive but she put me at ease. Excellent visit !

Dr Heit was a very concerned and caring person He did my rectocele repair and it has been great.Would recommended him to anyone.

Very harsh. I have been getting the run around for years & thought that I finally found the right place. Nope. And he made sure to let me know I was 100% wrong. I SOBBED the entire time I was there today because of how rude and degrading his tone was to me. I left feeling ashamed & embarrassed that I even step foot into that office today. I will not be looking within IU Health for care from this moment on. I'd rather pay out of pocket. Glad to find out that my consistent pain and numerous other symptoms are just menstrual cramps, even though it happens all day every day. Very harsh. Had a great experience with this doctor. Yes, they are short on staff. That IS NOT Dr. Heit’s fault. He works for a hospital that isn’t getting any coverage for him. His number one priority are his patients. I would Recommend Dr. Heit to anyone and everyone that I know that has these types of issues.

Dr. Michael Heit is excellent. I am so glad I found him. I would recommend him without hesitation! Explanation of procedures before and after my surgery and bedside manner is awesome. Wish I had found him sooner!

Going on 3rd prolapsed bladder & bowel. Then he tried to tell me he tells all his patience that choosing mesh is better.. but my husband and I begged him to use mesh and he absolutely refused and I told him... If he remembered correctlmember what the truth was. Also kept reminding me that the surgery would not make me like I'm 16 again! Seriously?? My bladder and bowel is prolapsed and married going on 32 years with 3 kids.. im not even worried about being like I'm 16 again! Sick and rude and he just assumes things. My appointment with Dr. Heit is February 21st. The staff cancel my appointment a few days before my appointment, because they said they are under staff and a lot Nurses left yesterday and the Dr. Heit can't handle all the patients for tomorrow and the rest of the week and next week and the week after that. That is very bad. And unprofessional talking bad about the doctor that away. Because of the nurse isn't no excuse to cancel my appointment. And he won't have any appointments for 3 weeks. It was a pleasure meeting Dr Heit. He explained everything and took his time with me . I feel very confident with him. I gave a rating of five on every on everything. Office staff is great Amber is amazing , very pleasant dealing with Dr Heit as well as his staff .

My Gynacoligist recommended Dr Heit he said he was the best. So I had surgery about seven weeks ago. I'm so glad I had it done . My bladder was on the outside so I put up with it a year,used a persery was not good I don't miss it at all, wore it about one week it was awefull. Anyway now I don't pee when I sneeze,or cough. No more urgency,no more getting up four times a night. Dr Heit was amazing the fellas that worked with him are great to. I'm so happy I had this done really pleased with the results.SO DR HEIT,MD YOU ROCK!!!!! THANK YOU FOR THE KINDNESS THAT WAS SHOWN TO ME. I RECOMMEND DR HEIT HE'S AMAZING!!!

I had a prolapsed bladder. Dr Heit's office was recommended by my husband's urologist. Dr Heit did a hysterectomy and a pelvic floor reconstruction. for me on Wed, 9/20/17. I stayed overnight and went home the next a.m. I had almost no pain at all at any time. I I went to Church that same Sunday and was back to work the very next Monday. It has been a little over 2 months since the surgery, and I have not missed any work or anything else. It's almost unbelievable! Wonderful!

Dr Heit is incredibly caring, he genuinely listens and has completely changed my Mother's lifestyle. The surgical procedure has restored quality back into her life. He took the time to explain what options were available for treatment. His bedside manner is kind & attentive in listening to concerns and questions we each had. He was always willing to spend whatever amount of time was needed. We are fortunate to have his expertise here in Indiana. I would highly recommend Dr. Heit and his staff

Dr. Heit surgically corrected my bladder prolapse with minimal discomfort to me during and after the surgery. I would unreservedly recommend treatment by Dr. Heit.

Dr. Heit is one of the most caring honest doctors. Love him. Now his office staff and office manager are not very friendly and the office manager is FAKE as FAKE comes!!

No good experiences with Dr. Heit. He did a hysterectomy on me and 2 years later I had to have corrective surgery because he didn't do what he said he would do. He is arrogant, told me that I could only see him, not my original ob/gyn, that was a short time before he moved to Indianapolis. His wife is the receptionist, she told me I owed for a previous office visit. I had to show her proof that it had been paid by credit card. She tried to embarrass me in the office. Don't recommend him.

Dr. Heit was patronizing and dismissive. I would not recommend him to any other women. There is something extremely frustrating about a male physician telling a female about how pregnancies affect the body and what that feels like. I am a mother of 4 and am well aware of the traumatic nature of a vaginal delivery and the effects it has on one's body. I do not appreciate a condescending lecture on how I am supposed to feel. I was desperate for help and Dr. Heit dismissed me.
