The best orthopedic doctor in town!

Dr Hawks repaired my right elbow 2 years ago. Saw him to see if he recommended removal of plate since I was having some soreness. He recommended we see if issue returns & address it at that time. So encouraging to have a surgeon that doesn’t push a medical procedure if not necessary. If in future I do need additional surgery, I will totally trust him to do the procedure. Thanks Dr Hawks, you’re the best!!

Absolutely no post op care and zero communication. I have yet to hear how my surgery went a week ago. I ended up in the emergency room and still no call back from him or his team. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR.

Dr. Hawks was amazing. I was very nervous and he was very gentle and kind. He has a wonderful personality and he answered all my questions about my injury. If I'm ever injured again I would definitely let him treat me.

I saw Dr. Hawks as a follow-up for an injury while on vacation. He listened, explained my injury, progress and prognosis, and even demonstrated some home therapy. He answered all of my questions and was optimistic, friendly and courteous. All of the people that I saw in this office were highly skilled, very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Hawks and his office for anyone needing orthopedic and orthopedic/trauma care. Thank you.

Excellent, kind and courteous staff and wonderful doctors! We felt like family from the time we walked in until the time we left. I will and have already recommended this practice to friends.

Dr Hawks is amazing!! I broke my femur and he stabilized it by putting a rod and 2 screws in. I have 3 small incisions and recovering very quickly!! He is knowledgable, skillful and an outstanding surgeon!! His office staff is very helpful and caring. Overall great experience with Dr Hawks and would recommend him highly. Forever grateful he was the Doc on call the weekend I fell and broke my femur!!!

Only a phone call to determine if "bump" on ankle due to previous surgery was anything to be concerned about. Callback from PA stated it is the cable across my ankle and is nothing to worry about. Love this doctor and his staff!

Dr. Hawks is extremely professional, passionate, and has a great personality/sense of humor, which was very pleasing considering I was in extensive pain. He referred me to another doctor who can better handle my situation because he mainly does trauma orthopedic procedures but over all my experience with him and his PA was great! I wish I could give home 10 stars!

Dr. Hawks repaired my badly broken wrist and after 5 months I am doing all the physically active sports that I love. Dr Hawks’ humor and thoughtfulness to answer all my questions and concerns before surgery were very much appreciated by me and my family. He gets my very highest rating for being an outstanding doctor.

Dr. Hawks did emergency surgery on my arm and I could not have been more pleased with him and his staff! His bedside manner was exceptional, I was scared to death as I had never broken a bone before, and he was so wonderful assuring me it would all be ok. I had to visit his office several times after surgery for follow up visits, and his staff was just as kind and caring as he was. I have to say I looked forward to each time I went. Never waited more then 5 or 10 min, and everyone was so nice. My arm now is healing beautifully. My range of motion is almost back to a 100% 7 months later, and this was a severe break of the elbow and upper arm. I would highly recommend Dr. Michael Hawks as a highly skilled surgeon. It's a shame that more people don't take the time to write the good reviews instead of just the bad ones. He and his staff were worth the 5 Stars I gave them.

Dr Hawks successfully performed surgery on a compound fractured femur on this 82 year old female patient. His communication skills are excellent and he listened and responded clearly to my questions and concerns
