From the first office visit to my surgeries and post surgery visits I have only received exceptional treatment. Dr. Grant bedside manner was/is great. My very recent experience with Dr. Grant and his office staff was excellent. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I was seen promptly and the tech was very caring. Following my initial exam Dr. Grant sat down in a conference room with me and explained my options. Answered every question to my satisfaction. He even has printed material ready so that I did not have to take notes. He is calming, reassuring and caring. I would recommend him to anyone that has breast cancer.

Please check with other surgeons before choosing Dr Grant, his staff...well only Nancy....was so rude, I couldn't believe it. He was not much better, everytime I would ask him something -instead of answering my questions- he would say "I just told you that"......Unbelievable! I went with another Doctor and my surgery was fine.

Google should let you give 0 stars. "Dr" Grant should have his medical license revoked. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! He can't even read a simple pathology report. If he had been able to, my mother would be alive today. However, his incompetence made her stage 0 cancer evolve to stage 4 and ultimately killed her. Another doctor looked at the same exact pathology report a year later and could easily point to the cancer that Michael left untouched. Michael is not only incompetent, but reckless and malicious to continue his career as a doctor. Seriously, go to ANYONE else. Edit: I forgot that when my mom was alive she was talking to a few other cancer patients while getting chemo and found out one or two of them had the SAME problem with him. This is not just a one time fluke. He has done this to MANY women. My dad thinks he didn't even read the pathology report. That's how little Michael cares about his patients' life. I used Dr. Grant for a lumpectomy in 2006. Everything was good. Recently, when diagnosed with breast cancer again, I called his office to find out about using him this time too. The person on the phone was so rude, it made me glad to not use him again. I m using Dr Lucy Wallace due to change in insurance, and couldn’t be more pleased.

First rate doctor with great bedside manor with a compassionate heart. Dr. Grant takes the time to listen and answer your questions. Great office staff, each person is always willing to answer questions and help you out! Great group of people.

Dr Grant did my double mastectomy and I couldn’t be happier. His staff Nancy and Paulina were there ever second of the way with any question I had. My first consultation with dr grant made me feel so at ease bc of his experience, it showed. I met with several doctors in Austin (where I live) and ultimately decided hands down to go with dr grant and Constantine. They are a great team and dr Grant would call me personally should anything arise. I have never had better care. ***also all my margins were cleared!!! Practice manager isn't allowing new mothers with children into the practice. I was just denied an appointment because I cant come without my infant. Unapologic about it. Said "I'm not going to allow a baby into the hospital who doesn't need to be here". Clear cancer isn't the priority here. I dont really have a choice in the matter.

Dr. Grant took the time to visit and explain the different options/treatments that were available to me and answered my questions so that I would feel at ease with my circumstances. The office staff was also kind and courteous helping answer any questions that I had. Overall a great experience and would be happy to recommend.

One of his staff members (Nancy) gave me incorrect information regarding my recuperation procedures after surgery, then brushed me off as if the wrong info wasn't important anyway. Dr Grant was rude to my family members when they asked questions about my upcoming surgery and recuperation plans.

He was very down to earth and discussed my health issues with extreme care and concern and calmness. He made me feel very important and that I was the one to make the decisions. Not him or my family. But me. He knew I was very concerned. I never questioned his suggestions. If I had to do it over I would still go to Dr Grant. His bedside manner is like family my recovery from surgery has been great.

I have never worked with a doctor's office with such a rude and incompetent staff. In addition to being an extremely unpleasant person, Nancy refuses to write anything down, so anything she tells you she will do, you can guarantee she will forget. Dr. Grant is a typical surgeon. He wants the bare minimum interacting with patients except when he is operating on them. At least he isn't quite as rude as his staff.

Dr. Grant was wonderful. I did genetic testing which confirmed what 23 and Me relayed to me. I was at exceptionally high risk for breast cancer. I asked and Dr. Grant gave me his honest opinion of what should be done and I followed his advise. I feel like I had the best surgeon for the job. I have not had any problems with his staff and I have called a few times with different questions. I highly recommend Dr. Grant.

I called to schedule a consult with the doctor, for my upcoming prophylactic double mastectomy. His two office staff were both extremely rude to me, they asked my age and then completely blew me off saying they would not see me unless something was found in a mammogram. It seems as if they do not understand of a prophylactic mastectomy due to a genetic mutation and family history of breast and other cancers. I am in the process of interviewing several surgeons for my surgery which they could not grasp the concept of. Unfortunately this doctor has lost a potential patient because of how his staff treated me.

Spoke to Nancy about getting a second opinion on discrepancies between a mammogram report and an ultrasound. It turns out that Dr Grant is not seeing patients for that but Nancy was rude, rude, rude.

If I could give him a lower rating I would. He blatantly lied to my mom about her pathology report and said that he got all of the cancer - she went to another doctor 1 year after he told her she was "cured" and the doctor said that the cancer was still there and looked at the same pathology report that Grant had and said that it was extremely clear that he had not removed all of the cancer the first time around. Now she has stage 4 cancer. Go to any other surgeon. Not Grant. If I could give him a lower rating I would. Dr Grant is one of the kindest, most caring and excellent doctors I've ever had. His staff are friendly and easy to work with. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Grant and his staff!

I love Dr Grant, performed a Lump. April 2009. No problems, great personality & staff are friendly & professional.

Amazing doctors amazing staff. I am one of those people that has a million questions. They never mind. Grant is so supportive and kind to me and did an amazing job on my surgery. Being only 28 I have been so upset the whole journey but he has been there! Has great bedside manners and always makes sure I'm taken well care of.

Dr Grant performed my mastectomy in 1997 . He was fantastic then so I can only imagine his skill level , now. Nancy was his nurse back then and did a great job. I trust his skill and he is a very calming presence . I highly recommend him and will always use big Baylor for all my serious medical needs . Our community is lucky to have such a skilled surgeon .

Dr. Grant is an amazing surgeon! He is both professional and compassionate. I never felt rushed during my visits. Nancy is amazing and I can't thank her enough for her help getting me in, and coordinating my appointment with one to a good plastic surgeon! I was an emotional wreck and she went above and beyond!

Dr Grant is amazing. Excellent communicator, highly competent. He called at 9:00 in the evening after my wife's procedure just to check on her. He is caring and his values are present in his staff. A wonderful surgeon and a very good man.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2015. I live three and half hours from Dallas, so I was so scared all I could think of "I want the best doctor for this." Immediately, Dr. Michael Grant is who you want. I said , "Sounds good to me." So we had a consultation with the Doctor, my husband, and myself after he knew what he needed to do. He was plain spoken with his explanation--even I could understand. After the surgery and my returns for checkup, I think more and thank him him for what he did for me. He is a marvelous person besides a conscientious Doctor. His patients come first. His staff is a wonderful group of people. They will help you any way they can. Great doctor, Dr. Michael Grant.
