Dr. Michael H Golf

Horrible doctor and he needs to retire. At the time of the visit he talked about how much he likes white cake with white icing. He emphasized that. I'm Caucasian. My significant other is half Hispanic, Italian and Israeli. I'll let you read between the lines.

Dr Golf has been wonderful with my two daughters over the years, most recently this past month. He has a great bed side manner. Top notch.

Horrible experience. The doctor came in the room and went right back out saying he had to find my chart. He left and did not come back for 20 min. I had to leave the room and go tell the receptionist the doctor never came back. He finally came into my room with a so called mask on. The mask was very loose on all sides, kept falling down below his nose and doing absolutely no good at all. I needed a corn removed and He dropped the scalpel on the dirty floor. After leaving I realized he did not remove the entire corn and my foot was still hurting. I could not wait to get out of there. Horrible experience. Nice guy, but could do nothing to help my painful and discolored toes. Correctly said it was a circulatory issue. Talked a lot about off subject matters. No treatment, no suggestions other than more exercise.

This doctor is a joke.he did a bunion surgery on my wife, not even a year later it came back 100% worse and dislocated two toes.she had to have recustructive surgery on her foot, two surgerys in less then a year because of doctor golf.In the past two years she has worked 5 months and just recently lost her job.He has cause so many issues and lost wages its rediculous..when she told him ot was coming back and starting to hurt again he wrote off her bill, gave her a handi cap placker for life and sent her on her way.What a joke. Review is for the front area receptionist. I called to make an appointment. Referred by my primary doctor. I was asked what insurance I had. I said Medicaid. Appointment was made for March 13, 2019 for 2:30pm. I caught a ???? there. Folled out all of the paperwork, gave my ID and insurance card, to be asked did I have another type of insurance. They only take Medicaid if it is Secondary to Medicare. I sm 54 years old. Too young for Medicare. A waste of my time and ????. The other receptionist quickly said that it wasn't her that made the appointment. Unless someone besides those 2 make appointments 1 of them made the mistake. Dr. Golf, your receptionist are the Face of your business. If they are rude or unprofessional it's a reflection on you. Neither one of them seemed sorry for the mistake. Very ???? disappointed. These guys really know what they are doing. Treated many people in the family!

I could not recommend Dr. Michael Golf. He performed what was supposed to be a simple surgery on my left foot. I experienced excessive bleeding and pain. As my the dressing on my foot was soaked with blood, I had to make an appointment immediately. As soon as he removed the bloody dressing he said "oh, no, I overcompromised. I need to do this surgery again right away". I had the same surgery with another podiatrist the previous year with zero complications. He did operate again and when I told him the pain med was not helping me enough, he advised me to double my hydrocodone. I had a terrible outcome and my left foot's large toe stuck out to the far right, to the point that I could not wear a regular shoe after the "recovery" period. I had to have a third surgery on my left foot with another podiatrist. He did the best he could with what he said was "a gutted foot". More than two years later, I am unable to wear any shoes with a raised heel, unable to use my exercise equipment and unable to walk more than briefly. I now use handicapped parking. He was our second opinion when one foot Dr wasn't working. I'm so glad we found him. My husband can now walk without pain. He and his office were great. He is now our family specialist.

I love my Dr Golf he has been my Doctor since 2000 always professional also his staff is very nice, I recommend his office to anyone he is the best...... Sadai

Do you know how it is when you go into an average or below average office environment and don't realize it until you experience one that is above average? Well, this office is very below average and you can see by only 3 stars for their ratings when other offices are getting 4 and above. From the front desk to the Dr., nothing is very professional.

Dr. Golf is a class act. He performed a bunionectomy on my right foot with care and professionalism. I would return to him for any further issues in a heart beat.

Dr. Golf helped me during a pretty bad injury to my foot. From the start I had no idea what was going on, but it turned out to be Plantar Fasciitis. I went through a few doctors trying to obtain answers, but until Dr. Golf laid out the reality of the injury I was fighting, I had no idea what my future held. While most doctors told me I'd be better in 3 months, Dr Golf gave me the harsh reality that I'd likely be injured for 9-18 months. He was correct. Due to his knowledge with foot and ankle injuries, I was finally able to overcome my injury by following instructions and simply asking questions. Dr. Golf is very reliable, and does not cut corners with diagnoses or treatment plans. Because of his awareness and knowledge I fully trust him in the future with foot and ankle problems. I went to see Dr. Golf, who examined my broken left ankle, my X-Rays, and my MRI, and immediately referred me to the doctor he shares his office with, Dr. St Louis. I had two torn ligaments and a broken bone, and I had seen a number of doctors who were all quite unsure of which route to take, most agreeing however that it would not heal on its own. I had become very depressed over what I believed to be no other outcome beside permanent damage to my ankle at 25 years of age. Dr. Golf and Dr. St Louis came together to recommend the surgery and explained to me, a medical novice at best, exactly why this was the best course of action in their opinion. My bone and ligaments would likely never heal without surgery, they explained, and I think there is no question today that they were 100% accurate in their assessment. The surgery was a complicated procedure from everything I had been told, and my ankle was in bad shape comparatively with other injuries like mine. I experienced no pain after the surgery, was well aware of all requirements Dr. St Louis expected of me to take care of my surgical wound, and was kept abreast as we went forward of exactly what I should be seeing, expecting, and adjusting for to properly care for the ankle during my healing process. Dr. St Louis recommended a very competent and thorough physical therapist who worked with Dr. St Louis to ensure my therapy was on the right track. I was walking again a month after the surgery, have experienced no complications from the surgery or recovery, and four months later am back to my normal life, something I thought in my many dark moments would be an impossibility. Dr. St Louis and Dr. Golf didn’t just treat me as a surgical patient – they genuinely cared about whether or not I would make a full recovery and were pleased to see me come along as I progressed. I would highly recommend Dr. Golf, but especially Dr. St Louis, who worked nothing short of a minor miracle for me.
