Dr. Michael John Ebertz

I accompanied my elderly father to a MOHS appointment that Dr Ebertz had hectored him into making. While the nursing and office staff was invariably polite and thoughtful, Dr Ebertz was dismissive and rather rude to my father and to me. He would not listen to or consider what we were saying; he ignored our requests and did only what he had wanted to do. It was a traumatizing experience for my father and I could not, in good conscience, recommend this provider to anyone.

All of my visits with Dr. Ebertz have been wonderful. He is very efficient and has a genuine desire to know you on a personal basis. I highly recommend Dr. Ebertz to be your care partner. His support staff is spot on too.... very friendly, and professional.

Dr Ebertz and his staff are positive, personable, knowledgeable and put their patients at ease. Highly recommend!

I have visited the Burnsville clinic. Apparently Skin Care Doctors and its CEO, Michael Ebertz were the subject of a whistleblower investigation. The press release from the Department of Justice says that Ebertz agreed to pay $850,000 to the United States to resolve allegations of false claims submitted for certain dermatology procedures. This should be a lesson to all healthcare consumers that you really have to research your doctors.

Dr. Ebertz is top notch. He's performed surgery on me twice. Outstanding results, great explainations, highly skilled, no scars. Go to him!

I saw Dr. Ebertz for years (starting in HS) for mole checks. As my visits continued, I saw him more concerned with a random acne medication I received once (in 15 years) and not about the atypical/pre-cancerous moles I was prone to. On one of the last visits I saw him, I reminded him about a mole I had in my pubic area that he had regularly checked. His response was "you can have your OBGYN check that". On my next appt. I pressed him to check it and he just took it off. This was my last visit.

I recommend Dr. Ebertz because he truly cares about treating my health condition. He also gave me several options for treatments while explaining the various costs. He is a true professional who really cares about his patients. Side note; Jessica, his nurse at the St. Cloud Clinic is also very caring and explains procedures very well.
