I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. My nervousness about the procedure caused me to put it off for years. I explained this to the doctor. He was gentle and clearly cared about my comfort. During the pre-op consultation, Dr. DeSalvo took the time to thoroughly educate me and answer all of my questions. His explanations were so thorough that I knew exactly what to expect each step of the way. The office is clean and the staff is professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease. Scheduling was easy, and I received reminder texts. There's ample parking and the office is easy to find. They accepted my insurance and were transparent about coverage. Regarding healing – I'm surprised how fast it was! Post-op soreness and swelling was mild and controlled by Motrin. I'm so grateful to have found this surgeon.

I never saw Dr. DeSalvo. I attempted to schedule a consultation for a wisdom tooth extraction after being referred to Dr. DeSalvo by my regular dentist. "Morgan" was rude from the start of our conversation, left me on hold for several minutes and then came on to say that the only date available was some weeks away. I was going to be out of town that day and advised that I could not make that time. There are apparently no other times available with the good doctor. If you are a new patient please be aware that you may have to put up with rudeness to make it to this doctor.

Came in for a consultation to get my teeth removed. Desalvo made me feel like I was in good hands. Unfortunately his office staffs incompetency made sure that I have no desire to go back. I’ve been told they’re checking my insurance for several weeks. I’ve waited 2 weeks for a phone call back. It’s just not worth my time anymore. My jaw is in too much pain to keep waiting this out.

Great doctor but expensive!! be prepared to PAY. While national average for an impacted wisdom tooth including sedation is 200-500 per tooth, his charge was just short of 3k. My quote given after my insurance was $1k and later received another bill for $500 since insurance write off was less. BEWARE. Especially if your insurance needs a deductible first which most do.
