Awful. Ignorant, uncaring. The process to be taken seriously was painstaking and draining. Very set in ways and unwilling to listen or look for something unusual or new-goes right from the textbook without any innovative ideas or concepts. Outdated. I'd recommend any neurologist except this one.

Dr. Collins was extremely patient, knowledgeable, thorough, and on top of that, KIND in diagnosing my husband with a motor neuron disease.

He seemed agitated from the minute he walked in the room. Was very rude to his own staff. Because I did not know text book terms for my conditions or symptoms this seemed to frustrat and agitate him to the piont of anger.

He was very cold and didn't care how much pain he was inflicting upon me. Also he was very dismissive and condescending.

After 10 years in MDA clinic Dr. Collins informed me I was no longer going to be seen in MDA clinic. My neurologist had moved on, and after reviewing my files, he decided the MDA was a bad fit for me. I feel he should have at least taken the time to interview me, and examine me before making this ill-informed decision. Also, I was seen by another neurologist in the MDA who insisted I have another emg done at the cost of over a thousand dollars. Having had this test done b/f, why again?
