Dr. Michael Anthony Bianchi

I attended a couple appointments with Michael Bianchi and he was generally very curt and not informative. When I asked him to describe why he was going to perform the procedure he recommended he proceeded to give medically inaccurate information which makes me think he did not have a full understanding of my condition. From here I went to the TMJ Center at Penn Medicine and found the knowledge to head and shoulders above Michael's. Perhaps Michael has a better understanding of other conditions, but for TMJ he is lacking and his patients would be better served if he referred them elsewhere instead of feigning knowledge and quickly proceeding to questionably needed expensive procedures.

Do not use this doctor, or any other in this practice, for anything other than routine oral surgery (ie wisdom tooth extractions etc.) Both he and his staff were unable to give me the care needed for my condition (Osteonecrosis of the jaw). The treatment caused more harm then help. Dr. Bianchi’s attitude towards me changed drastically and became downright rude when I questioned the treatment. He was inconsistent in responses and I lost trust in his competency. Their billing system is horrendous and impossible to understand. It created ongoing problems because of their use of wrong billing codes. Worst of all, was their poor attitude and refusal to admit to and/or correct any errors on their part. It took me repeated appeals and almost 2 years to rectify it. I have since found an Oral Surgeon who treats my condition and it has made a world of difference! Do your research!!!

My daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth surgically extracted almost 3 years ago. I thought i wrote a review at that time, but I guess it didn't post. This office is amazing from the front desk to the assistants to the doctors. We were treated with professionalism and compassion. We were given clear discharge instructions and a follow up appointment. My daughter received the best care and healed beautifully. She took her pain medication as directed and had almost no pain. She was back to work in 3 days and free of any complications. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful experience !!! I have already recommended you to all my friends and family. This is a genuine human being first then Dr Bianchi is a genuine and excellent Dr. I know many people who have been under his care, including my daughter, and I have and will continue to recommend him to everyone. Thank you Dr Bianchi

He does fantastic work. Exceptional skill and obvious experience that puts a patient at ease in knowing they are receiving the best treatment you can get.

I was seen by Dr. Bianchi yesterday to have a wisdom tooth removed. I am terrified of the dentist so I opted to be put under anesthesia. Its now day 2, I don’t have any pain or swelling, only alittle tenderness but I am able to eat. The best dental experience I have ever had hands down. Entire staff is competent, friendly and helpful. Dr. Bianchi in particular is very professional and excellent.

I was referred to Dr Bianchi by my orthodontist for a seemingly small lesion on roof and subsequent tori removal. (My idea, not "upsold.") At every moment I felt confident that I was in expert hands. He treats patients like they are intelligent people, answers all questions clearly and to the level of detail requested. Things go exactly as he describes or better. He is very experienced, and has done all of my procedures innumerable times. I like him a lot. Office is efficient and pleasant. Prof staff is just the right balance of fun and on point. My dentist recommended Dr. Bianchi when I needed a dental implant and I'm lucky he did. At the first visit with Dr. Bianchi you know he is experienced and extremely competent and that you are in very good hands. He has a calming demeanor which is an important quality in any surgeon. I made multiple visits to the practice during the implant process and was impressed by the competence and genuine friendliness of the assistants with whom I interacted.
