This doctor dismissed me out of hand. He seemed intelligent and willing to take time, but unaware that post-concussion syndrome can last longer than 3 weeks and simply did not believe my report of my symotoms. It was a very humiliating and angering experience which kept me from seeking further treatment in the medical system for my injury.

I was originally a brain trauma patient. I received top notch, personal and compassionate care from Dr. Alexander. Even more amazingly, I called him 8 yrs after my initial treatment , expecting that I would have to explain who I was etc. Dr. Alexander returned my phone call within 1 hour. He was totally familiar with my case and spent over 20 minutes on the phone helping me.

Worse doc experience of all time. Arrogant, criticized every one of my docs, doesn't listen to the patient and at the end of day said we had "no therapeutic relationship." Had no class to read my records I'd faxed a month prior, didn't care & I drove 2.5 hours to see him. Told me the fact I mention post-concussive symptoms or brought him a list of them means I'm going down a path of disability (actually adding hours and prior worked 3 jobs post kidney transplant). Bases his arrogance on articles he's written, discounting any other provider, but has no clue about chronic concussion symptoms and feels everyone has to have psychiatric problem to have symptoms over 1 month. Felt I should have done more from outset which would have put folks on road or with my job. Waste of visit, doesn't understand his role as a doc means leaving the attitude at the door, and needs to retire. Harvard should take note. Worse doc experience of all time. She is the smartest most competent doctor that I have ever encountered. She has great bedside manner, she is warm, knowledgable, and knows her stuff more than anyone.

I loved this doctor. Very professional, warm, intelligent , and even a sense of humor! He asked lots of appropriate questions, and even listened to my answers. I'm impressed!
