The staff is excellent and the doctor is accommodating and very thorough. He explains everything to you so you understand what the problem is and how to treat it. I always learn something new and important whenever I see him.

Exception service. Doctor and staff are attentive and through. Dr. Alaimo was patient and listened attentively to my health concerns. I didn't feel rushed and I left his office feeling confident that my health was important to him.

Dr. Alaimo is truly amazing. He takes your health seriously and takes time to assess and evaluate you. He is very knowledgeable. It is hard to find a good doctor. He is truly the best.

I went there the other day for my appointment that was at 2:30...I called them when I arrived at 2 PM to say I was outside waiting and when they’re ready they can call and I’ll be able to come in. The person on the phone then says, “Oh he [Alaimo] is finishing up now I believe, I’ll call you back in 5 minutes to let you know when to come in, wait until then.” So I waited...for an HOUR AND A HALF MORE. I called during that duration and was still given the run around and some calls not even answered. After waiting for so long I decided to leave and no longer continue to have my time wasted. I came to the doctor to deal with something very serious. I was on time, polite, and even patient. But there comes a time when communication is valuable and they never once communicated that “5 minutes” meant and hour and half to them. Will no longer ever indulge in this unprofessional place. A doctor worth waiting for! Super knowledgeable, pleasant and a great sense of humor. I put my whole family in his hands and have never regretted it.

I am an RN and am very particular with whom I receive my healthcare. Dr. Alaimo is simply the best. An excellent diagnostician, thorough, caring and educates his patients. You will wait to see him, but his care is worth the wait and he will give you the same non rushed visit and attention. I have been a patient for more than 15 years. Highly recommend.

Dr. Alaimo is the absolute best doctor I have ever encountered who really gives you that old school "family doctor" feel, is always in such a pleasant mood and is extremely personable. He takes you into his office at the end of every visit to take the time to explain everything to you and ensure you leave fully understanding, with new knowledge, and he always comforts you and makes you feel that everything will be alright. He goes above and beyond and always does extra testing to ensure he doesn't miss anything. He views the patient physically, emotionally, and holistically. He really gives his fullest self to his patients and genuinely cares so much about his patience. He was meant to be a doctor and he truly a hidden gem. Dr. Alaimo is well educated, takes time with you and makes you feel comfortable. The office is clean and the staff is friendly. However it’s not easy to get an urgent appointment and the wait time before you are called in is at least 1.5 hours, if you arrive 15 min. early. The waiting room is tiny, office needs updating, and while you’re waiting more patients are pouring in & waiting for a long time also. Plan to spend the entire day in Malverne if you have an appointment with Dr. Alaimo.

Best dr I've been to in years. Funny guy and knows what he is talking about.

He greets you with a smile study’s medicine everyday and will take the time to talk with you about your lifestyle. I really do appreciate him . Makes me feel really comfortable.
