Dr. Melissa M Pearlstone

Dr. Pearlstone may have a lot of experience, however, this doctor lost another patient who was unhappy with their visit to this practice.

Got genetically tested for BRCA because my mom had it who was also her patient. When my results came back negative she said I didn't look happy enough but my mom was dying at the time so I wasn't feeling anything but sad for a while. Maybe she's better with older patients but if you're younger I'd stay away. When I was there for a yearly check up she applauded me for being a virgin saying I should be at that age (21) which is very unprofessional. She was also very hostile during my yearly check up. During the pap smear she was basically scoffing about how some people are afraid of pelvic exams/procedures, and making it a point to portray that she doesn't like doing them. It was weird because I wasn't anxious, didn't say much, and just followed directions. As someone who works in healthcare (registered nurse BSN) I found the care to be very unprofessional and hostile.

I have been a patient of Melissa Pearlston for 20 years !!! A few years ago I was sent to there new breast imaging center for my mammogram instead of radiology center which I been going for years! I was diagnosed with dense breast for the first time at there imaging center! I was sent for an ultrasound . A few weeks later I got a bill for 260!!! No one inform me that I was going to be bill! I would of refuse the ultrasound. I could not afford it! Needless to say I did not pay. Fast forward today I am on state insurance and because I did not pay for there ultrasound dr pearlstone refuses to see me. I find it so unfair! Since then none of my mammogram show up that I have dence breast! I did not need no ultrasound because I never had dence breast!!! Even if I did I should of been told of the cost!!! Fasle diagnosis, and refusing to see a patient because they could not afford to pay a bill is unfair!!!! By the way the receptionist, is very rude!

Just had my first 2 appointments with Dr.Pearlstone for menopause care. She offered a thorough office visit before examination. Asked about all aspects of lifestyle, nutrition & concerns. And offered options. I felt heard & included in the recommended plan. Knowledgeable in Hormone Replacement Therapy & explained the pros/cons & efficacy. No nonsense & to the point. I feel like I’m in the right hands. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with peri/menopause/post symptoms.

I met this doctor at a wedding for the Kemp family . I could tell immediately she was a great doctor. I’ve heard nothing but great things about her over the years and they were / are all true.

DR.Pearlstone was very nice and very understanding. I also love the fact that she explained the situation to my husband and me about our unborn baby, where we could understand and walk out on ease. Thank Dr. Pearlstone.

Dr. Pearlstone came highly recommended and I made an appointment. I find it very difficult to breath in a mask and they asked that I put on another one on top the one I had. The Dr came in immediately and asked that I put it over my nose and I advised I could not, it was difficult to breath. She spoke well but overall I felt like from the distance she sat away from me and her expressions, I did not feel like a valued patient. I've not had this experience with any other doctor, very unprofessional. Dr. Pearlstone came highly recommended and I made an appointment. I’ve been seeing Dr.Pearlstone for over 10 years now. I love her and her staff. They’re always so caring and make sure your visit is comfortable. Great office!

No question is off limits with Dr. Melissa, and she shares with a purpose. To inform and educate. She shows genuine interest, and asks questions showing that she’s fully engaged. I trust her, respect her, and make it my business to refer other women to her practice.

Dr. Pearlstone has always been amazing, I daw her year back for a few years, so glad to be back in her office I've said it before and I'll say it again.. she's awesome!!! She's extremely detailed, and dedicated to her profession. Her bedside manner with me has been exceptional.

Dr Pearlstone is the best gynecologist I have ever found. She takes time to explain everything and really takes care off her patients. It is not close to my house but it is worth driving for a good dr.I recommended her to both my daughters and friends because I know they will be very happy with her.

The visit was exceptional. I arrived early andwas taken in earlier than scheduled.. that was great. The staff was helpful and professional. Dr Pearlstone goes out of her way to make sure every detail is covered and resolved .

General exam, staff was efficient and pleasant. In for exam on time. Dr P was pleasant, professional and willing to listen to concerns making suggestions as needed.

Love this doctor!! She takes the time to explain all procedures and medications that you should need. I also enjoy the fact that she runs on time is very professional and thorough with all attention on the patient. What I also enjoy about this doctor is that she has a sense of humor which makes the office visit more enjoyable.

This isn’t the first time I had an issue with the receptionists. Unfortunately I was talked to very rudely on the phone when I called about my prescription. I wasn’t sure of the name of my medication and received a nasty attitude back because of that. That should also be in the system for their patients. Word of advice. Friendly staff. Dr. Pearlstone is very thorough and detail oriented. She is very easy to talk to.

Dr. Pearlstone is an amazing woman. She really makes you feel comfortable, and she knows what she is doing. She would have gotten 5 stars but the staff is not very friendly. I was pregnant for the first time and did not know that Dr. Pearlstone was not taking pregnant women anymore. I showed at her office, you should have seen how this one nurse treated me. She was VERY rude and even made fun of me with her colleagues. So, you can imagine the confusion and embarrassment ... When Dr. Pearlstone saw me. she was very genuine to tell me that she had retired as an OBGYN but still she did an ultrasound.
