Always wonderful kind and patient. Staff is also very friendly as well. Dr Melissa Cad works great with our child and listens to our concerns as well.

My son has been in the best care since we moved here. The staff is loving and caring. Everytime we have an appointment my son is excited to go instead of being scared. Thank you to the team that takes care of him!

Dr Melissa was great to work with. She was very friendly and worked well with my young kiddo. She was very thorough in looking through blood work and ultrasounds before the appointment and was ready to make next step recommendations. I appreciated how she wanted to investigate further before making any changes to diet or medication. Her office has a dietitian that she utilizes which is a huge bonus. She was knowledgeable yet explained things in a way that made sense to me. Fantastic bedside manner.

Amazing doctor and staff!! She is so thoughtful, patient and answers all of your kidney questions! Go see her if you have ANY kidney concerns! She's the best!

Dr Melissa and her staff are amazing. Taking your child to see a nephrologist isn't ever fun, but they make the whole process/visit as pleasant as possible. Dr Melissa always talks to my son with language that he understands and asks if we have questions. It's always clear that she is familiar with our family situation (I hate answering the same background questions every time I revisit a Dr) and is up to date on the latest studies and research. I never feel rushed and do believe she has genuine compassion for her patients and their families. Dr Melissa and her staff are amazing. Ever since my daughter started going to Dr.Melissa, she has always been so nice and caring and always listens to any concerns my daughters has and makes her feel like family. She is amazing at what she does! I truly recommend her, she’s gonna make you feel safe and if you have any question she will go out of her way to explain every detail. Dr. Melissa is the sweetest, most caring person I could hope to have leading the charge taking care of my son. She is highly versed in this critical field but also helped my son feel comfortable in her office which means he doesn't fear or dread a process he has to do so frequently. As a parent, I feel heard when we go over options and I know my son is in great hands.

She is so knowledgeable and personable. She remembers details about our daughter from prior visits, both personal and medical. She takes her time and answers all questions throughly. We drive over an hour for appointments with her and it’s so worth it.

We were amazed about through she is and it was easy to understand. Any questions I have she answers in a timely matter.

Dr Melissa is absolutely amazing! She is both knowledgeable and compassionate. Finding a Dr who is as up to date on the latest research and has a wonderful bedside manner is rare. My son usually hates going to doctor appointments, but he actually looks forward to seeing Dr Melissa. She helps to ease my fears and concerns too, which leaves me also looking forward to our visits.

We have known Dr. Melissa for 8 years between two hospitals. She has treated my son well. We requested she to be our son’s primary nephrologist, changing from another doctor in the practice. Unfortunately, that request was neither heard nor acted upon. When my son was placed on hemodialysis, no effort, by any of the doctors in the practice, was made to transfer him to a proper pediatric dialysis center. Instead we were falsely led to believe that home hemodialysis through DaVita was possible. When that narrative changed and I questioned why it changed and first asked for, then demanded an explanation, the doctor/patent/parent relationship with another doctor in the practice became extremely strained. We finally got our son into a proper pediatric hemodialysis center on June 3, 2020 after 18 months of hemodialysis and in one month have seen major progress; fluid volume off is now tolerable without cramping, unnecessary medications have been eliminated.

This doctor has the best bed side manners I've seen, she makes my son feel relaxed and explains everything nicely.

Dr. Melissa is wonderful! She takes the time to listen to your concerns, understand what is going on and is excellent with children. She knows the right questions to ask to get the answers to help better diagnose what is going on. Additionally, her team will book an appointment in a very timely manner (less than a week) without requiring any information or referral from your main doctor. This team cares and wants to make sure they help in any way possible! Dr. Melissa is wonderful!
