I have had Dr. Hpegur since the moment I was diagnosed with AML. I only have positive things to say about him and his staff. He is straight to the point, his staff is very kind and accommodating. I had been having issues finding doctors that are reliable in South Florida, however it’s safe to say that Dr. Hepgur is someone I can trust. He respects his patients and is efficient in his work. He diagnosed me with Multiple Myeloma and he is truly genuine about his procedures. I cannot recommend any other doctor, but I can say that Dr. Hepgur and his staff are the best people. I had been having issues finding doctors that are reliable in South Florida, however it’s safe to say that Dr. Hepgur is someone I can trust. He respects his patients and is efficient in his work. He diagnosed me with Multiple Myeloma and he is truly genuine about his procedures. I have been seeing Dr. Mehmet Hepburn since December of 2020. My experience with him and his staff, has been anything but good service! He makes me feel like definitely a number and not a Patient. He always seems like he is in a hurry to get to his next Patient.When I explain things that are happening in my body,He doesn't seem to be interested at all.I would not recommend him to my best friend. My father passed away in the care of this person and his team at North Broward. Broward General is not up to par either; I'm a previous patient myself. Underlying conditions that should have been attained to 1st prior to being a candidate for Chemotherapy. I advise anyone to do your research of these "doctor's". Greed is a deadly sin! Dr Hepgur is an highly intelligent doctor who listens to every word you say. He doesn’t miss anything you say and to me that’s so important. He makes me feel comfortable and is compassionate but knows when it’s time to hear every word you say. When I heard his notes about our visit the doctor DID NOT MISS ANYTHING!!! I felt so good knowing that he heard everything. His referrals have been to exceptional colleagues and I’m proud to have him in my corner. Thanks Dr. Hepgur

These people working with Doctor Hepgur is a mess they don't care about patients period. My client was told my doctor Hepgur that he would be able to remove a port on Monday we was at the office on Friday and was told he order for her to get the port out on Monday she would have to contact her pcp however these people working with doctor Hepgur did not sent out the order request for her to go in on Monday then giving us the run around. We have been going down to the office 3 days straight just to get into. Now this cancer patient is about ready to give up even the more because of this. We must do better to help the sick. It's not right. That woman Jodie who is working with doctor Hepgur needs to be gone. These people working with Doctor Hepgur is a mess they don't care about patients period. Great doctor

I can not say enough accolades about Dr. Hepgur. Tremendous knowledge, easily understood his breakdown of my issues. Personal attention you rarely see. I was hesitant to do standard chemo, but Dr. Hepgur explained everything in a way that I felt that he knew his task and I will follow his recommendations. I was diagnosed with Stage IV non small cell lung cancer mid July 2018. I was started on Keytruda on August 16 th, 2018. By the time I found Dr, Hepgur, I was finished with #4 infusion. Out of breath and energy I was barely walking, could hardly eat enough to survive. So back to the ER for the third time. I was at my end, three months of decline and the last 30 days with only 1-2 hours of sleep each night. I was ready to throw in the towel and looking for my exit strategy. My family could tell. My oncologist that I had was not participating as I would have thought one would’ve. But I had no idea what to expect from one. I am glad I asked Dr. Tamim for a recommendation. I now know what I should have expected of my oncologist. I was diagnosed at Broward General Medical Center. And all initial testing was from the staff and Dr.Yeh Through the staff pulmonologist, I found the Thoracic surgeon, Dr. Tamim. and through him I found the oncologist Dr. Hepgur, albeit several months after the start of my train wreck. Dr. Hepgur is an amazing Oncologist who was part of a team at Broward Health who saved my father's life. Dr. Hepgur really cares about his patients and knows what he is talking about. My family is grateful that we had the chance to meet him and his team.

I originally posted a negative remark a few weeks ago about Dr. Hepgur and the staff and Broward Medical Center's Cancer Center, but recently deleted it because I thought I had resolved the issues I had with them. Today, I realized why I posted the negative remark in the first place. As my caregiver and the person who is supposed to be looking out for my medical interest, if you feel I need something done as part of my treatment then you need to make sure that its done. The lack of professionalism displayed by your staff amazes me. There is no follow-up when things need to be scheduled, appointments are scheduled for the wrong dates, staff is unfriendly, unprofessional (talking on cell phones, eating, etc...) while patients wait to be checked out. Find another hospital to go to, this one is not up to par. Dr Hepgur is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate doors and I have come to know- and trust me I have a team of doctors working with me for the past 3 years and I am proud to say he is on my team! If you want accuracy and results Dr Hepgur is your MD!

Hi ! Dr Hepgar is great physician took care of me and was very involved with my care. He has the best Chemo personal in the world very caring.. great experience.

Outstanding doctor, kind, cares a lot and my family member had cancer, no other cancer doctor i know went the extra effort to provide us with best care possible for our family at Broward General. He is very thorough and patient great bed side manners and most importantly he is dedicated and smart.

Dr Hepgur is a very deceiving oncologist. He gave my father false hope until the very end of his life. He withheld the full truth of his condition and its decline, and once he knew he was declining rapidly he left him to die. He would never look me in my face as the daughter, and is against in raw food or natural diet. He is a chemo lover, and will continue to administer chemo even when his patient is severely weak! I will never recommend this oncologist to anyone ever!

Dr. Hepgur seems to be extremely experienced and has a sense of medical keen awareness that comes natural. Every nurse and/or doctors say the most high praise in his favor. As a recently diagnosed AML Lukemia patient I have to say if it wasn't for Dr. Hepgur noticing my blood report that I took in the emergency room my cancer would have went un-noticed. No other doctor paid close attention. They were preparing me to go home when Dr. Hepgur said no and had me admitted.

This was my first encounter with Dr.Hepgur. He is very pleasant, easy to talk with, and has a fine bedside manner. He explained the course of treatment he felt would be best for my type of Cancer, even drawing pictures outlining the organs affected, and how they become comprimised. All in all, an easy first visit under the circumstances, and I would reccommend him highly.

My mother has been seen by Dr.Hepgur for a second opinion. She chronically high platelet counts managed by medications. Over the years her counts has risen but despite treatment and she developed anemia. She was admitted several times and required blood transfusions. Dr. Hepgur identified my mother's anemia, changed her medication and she has not been admitted ever since. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate.

I would like to express our graditude to Dr Hepgur regarding my husband health issue he was very thoughtful and on point in helping him with his treatments in the hospital and when he can in as a out patient he was very supportive and greeted me very time I saw him he took the time out to talk to me about my husband plan of Heath I would recommend him to the worl d you have all five stars from us thank you so much Mr&Mrs Baldwin

We are very fortunate to have found Dr Hepgur and his nurse. Being diagnosed with cancer is tough and he has explained everything that was going to happen and hugged us when We needed the support. They have have helped us through insurance issues and are always available to answer our questions. We highly recommend Dr Hepgur.

Dr. Hepgur is the best. He took his time to explain everything to me in words that I could understand. He was not rushed and I could feel that he genuinely cared about my well-being. He always follows through to the T. He is a great doctor and I wouldn't think of seeing anyone else.

Dr. Hepgur is an excellent physician . He responses all my questions and explains all the steps. I am very happy with his office and his service.

His staff is overwhelmed and very insufficient. They over-book and are very un-courteous and impolite. The doctor does not call back on test results and suggests taking other tests for no apparent reason or reasoning. I would not recommend this doctor or any of their staff. You will be treated disrespectfully and will be wasting time trying to get an appointment or especially trying to get a live person over the phone.
