I understand that Dr.'s need to come up with alternate options for migraine headaches like lifestyle changes but to tell a teenager that she just needs to learn to cope with her migraines and use distractions because there isn't any meds that will help is very concerning. Good thing my daughter doesn't have depression because right after the appointment my daughter said "so what she is saying is there is no hope". That's terrifying to hear my teenager say that. By the way my daughter did all 6 things Dr. Candee suggested for 6 weeks straight and it made no difference at all if anything they are worse. The solution is now to make another appointment with her, I don't think so. That cost me $600 and traumatized my daughter. Dr. Candee should still recommend lifestyle changes but she needs to come up with better ways to address a teenager and come up with back up solutions besides come back in and spend more money and learn to distract yourself from migraines. Obviously she has never had a migraine in her life you can't just distract yourself.

Horrible doctor, Bill came out to be $600 for a 20 minute virtual visit. The whole appointment was a joke; my daughter walked around the house to get her physicals checked and then Dr. Candee said, what your family doctor is probably correct- follow her advice. I am so disappointed; $600 for 20 minutes on Zoom? Don’t waste your money, we got nothing more than what the family doctor had already told us.

Dr. Candee is very caring and kind. I highly recommend her.

Not the best bedside manner. Ok for emergency situation but be sure to ask for consults from outside specialists too. Would not recommend for children that suffer strokes. We asked her multiple times if our child could have a very rare condition and she dismissed any chance of something outside of the typical causes of strokes and actually misdiagnosed the cause. Our son was discharged only to suffer multiple strokes within a few weeks after. Our personal experience felt like they were just rushing to get our son discharged and didn’t make it a priority to understand the cause or consider even the most rare things. Would highly recommend stroke care with Colorado children’s and UCSF stroke teams.

You better make sure you ask everything you want and need to know about your child while you're there. They do not return phone calls regarding questions that come up from your appointment once you leave.

She has a very cold personality. Not personable at all. Very poor bedside manner. Many other physicians out there, won't be going back to her.
