I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Mazen Abdullah and his team. My husband and I struggled with infertility for a few years before turning to Dr. Abdullah for IVF treatment. From our very first consultation, we felt heard, supported, and well-informed about our options. Dr. Abdullah was always available to answer our questions and concerns, and his expertise and guidance throughout the IVF process were invaluable. Saw Dr. Abdallah twice for monitoring ultrasounds during my fertility preservation and he was the only doctor at the monitoring clinic who treated me like a patient instead of a box that needed to be checked. He gave the most detailed explanations of what he saw and talked me through everything, which means so much during this process. He explained what he was observing, answered my questions, even asked me questions to get clarification, and reassured me as best as he could based on his observations. Both times, I was pleasantly surprised, grateful, and almost to the point of tears just to have someone go above and beyond for a monitoring ultrasound. It's been a coordinating and scheduling nightmare dealing with two clinics in two different cities for the past month. Dr. Abdallah's bedside demeanor and his willingness to engage with me were bright spots. I would recommend him to anyone considering egg preservation or IVF in Houston.

I came to Dr Mazen Abdallah’s office after 5 unsuccessful IVFs at another fertility institute. Dr Abdallah gave us our full attention, answered all of our concerns, and, most importantly, explored all of our options and the successful outcome of each of them with us. He did not push on any treatment until we were ready and respected our decision time. And when that time came, he quickly worked to start our treatment asap. He was very sincere and caring. His staff was amazing! Starting with the front desk (they always remembered my name) and the nurses (always available for any questions and guiding me through the whole treatment instructions!), to the financial counselor, who called and gave us detailed explanations of options and payment plans. After going back and forth with them I found out it was denied BECAUSE Dr. Abdallah ALREADY diagnosed me as infertile with a 10 minute conversation and NO TESTING to back it up. He took everything i said about being in a relationship for 5 years and intimate once/twice a month as me being infertile. Ovulation window is 1 day a month. WTH! I don't know where to start. I was seen in a top notch ivf practice. After two years of painful losses, approaching the 40's and with a heart broken and few hopes, i felt into a recommendation to go and see Dr. Masen Andallah. If you have been in this roller coaster of ivf before, Dr Abdallah, first received us with optimism and also listening and answering our questions with professionalism and with a great approach to science and reality, but also possibility. He acted quickly, guided us, support us and gave us great financial advises!. We had a good egg. Today we are out of our first trimester. I had low sperm count and hence consulted Dr. Abdallah. Obviously, IVF was not our first choice, so the doc recommended a urologist, and guess what that urologist suggest - to go for IVF. We went ahead and got pregnant, but couldn't continue the pregnancy. Then i saw another urologist, recommended by my friend, he suggested go take some test, and it turns out that i have vericocele, which can be treated with a simple surgery. Had we had been told this before, me and my wife would not have gone through the pain of IVF. Therefore, i recommend seeing at least two independent urologist (not related or recommended by IVF docs) before you opt for IVF. I had low sperm count and hence consulted Dr. Abdallah.
