Dr. Hasbani is knowledgeable in the diagnosis of vaccine induced neurological symptoms. He listened to me and based on my symptoms, he knew exactly what tests to order. I experienced polyneuropathy all over my body unexpectedly and he has been very helpful, providing excellent care as my neurologist. Thank you, Dr. Hasbani, for diagnosing and treating me. I love the brand new office in New Haven and his staff are helpful and friendly.

I have been a migraine sufferer since I was 13 yrs. old and am now 56. I have seen several neurologist through the years. Dr. Hasbani has not only given me medications that have been very helpful but a combination of vitamins as well that I was deficient in. This combination has been working for me. He is compassionate and listens to my concerns with empathy. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room before they have called me into a room to be seen. Dr Hasbani is kind witty and highly intelligent. He has treated my entire family and we wouldn’t go to anyone else. On a recent visit with my elderly dad he showed patience ,kindness ,compassion and caring. He really took his time and went above and beyond. His office staff is very efficient Thank you !

If you’re looking for a neurologist that is ignorant, dismissive and rude, here’s your guy!! Ignores your medical history and rushes you in and out. And if you think you’re going to ask any questions while you’re in there, think again. It’s a waste of his time! An absolute joke. On top of it, the office looked totally unorganized. I’m a long term patient who knows how to interact with medical professionals. I strongly recommend you seek out another doctor for your neurological needs.

Dr. Joshua Hasbani is the best neurologist you will find in the New Haven County area! I’ve been a patient since my car accident 6 years ago and I basically refuse to see anyone other than him. He takes many factors into consideration before making a diagnosis and actually listens to his patients. I’ve also never waited more than 10 minutes to be called in for my appointment. The office really does a great job with managing time and also calling patients back and scheduling appointments. 10/10 recommend Dr. Hasbani and his office! I have seen Dr Hasbani for over 10 years!! He is so knowledgeable and is up on all the new treatments. When I go to my appointments I am seen rather promptly, i find he is very to the point and never wastes my time but at the same time he listens to me!! He has helped me so much with my migraines and I trust him completely the medication plan has really helped improve my migraines. Dr Hasbani has also helped my daughter with her migraines we will never go to another neurologist as long as he is practicing!!!

This “doctor” was rude, inconsiderate and smug. He took zero time listening and was quick to blame our referring doctor. He gave us NO reason to trust him. I will never return and feel sorry for anyone seeking his help.

Instead of trying to find out what is causing my major migraines, he continued to prescribe 4 (!!) new medications. Terrible experience, do not recommend. I highly encourage anyone with headaches/migranes to see a chiropractor. I was healed after having daily headaches for 5 months (thanks to Dr. Hasbani's ineffective treatments) by a chiropractor, Dr. Porzio. Medical professionals will discouraged you from chiropractic care as they did with me. At the very least its worth to get a second opinion. I was referred to doctor Hasbani for neurological treatment due to a motor vehicle accident. I have never met this man and from the moment I walked into his office I felt welcomed from his staff to and Dr. Hasbani. In life we see doctors for our well being and I truly feel you need a connection in order to feel at ease when anything goes wrong with oneself. Dr. Hasbani has a brilliant mind backed with intellectual knowledge in knowing what he needs to do to help his patients. He is hands on and takes his time to thoroughly evaluate you in order to see which course of action is needed. I have an excellent team of doctors caring for my rehabilitation and Dr. Hasbani has capped my treatment with the best possible care one may receive, and the encouragement that there is always light at the end. I don't think Dr. Hasbani is capable of emphaty. I went through a biopsy, two MRI and lumbar puncture and yet he never felt compqssion or had abything nice to say. During my appointments, he calls m3 with his finger, not but my nam3. His office is filthy all the time. I have been calling for four days now to hear the results of my latest test without hearing back from him.

This is the most unprofessional office I cannot believe you can not get a actual person on the phone. They do not follow through with call backs and caring for the patients.

Avoid! I am a new patient and having a allergic reaction to a prescribed drug and the office is not returning calls or emails. Dr. Joshua Hasbani is very knowledgeable, resourceful, thorough, caring and professional. I usually don’t have to wait more than 10 min. His office staff are also very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend him as your Neurologist. ????

Dr. Hasbani is a great doctor very caring understanding no waiting . He is a very passionate about your problem and takes your problem serious , I believe in him and I think you will to.

I first came to Dr. Josh Hasbani in April of 2019 reporting frequent episodes of dizziness, double vision and imbalance. The episodes had persisted over several years and occurred most days; lasting from 10 min to 4 hours. Dr. Hasbani's quick assessment led to a diagnosis of migrainous vertigo. He prescribed medication coupled with vestibular balance therapy. My vertigo occurances dramatically subsided in just 2 months. Now, after 9 months, the episodes have decreased to no more than once per month; each lasting 10 min or less. I am grateful to Dr. Hasbani for restoring my quality of life and for remaining open and responsive to my questions and concerns.

Most unpleasant, uninterested doctor I have ever experienced. He made me feel like I was wasting his time and that I was an unwelcome nuisance. I don’t need charisma and unnecessary small talk, but at least act as if care about the health issue I’m seeing you about and perhaps educate me with your expertise to help me be a better informed patient. This guy almost rolls his eyes when you ask him a question. I don’t believe any of his positive reviews. I will never go back.

This is not a review for the doctor but for the billing department. After receiving my statement post-insurance I set up a payment plan with the billing office for my credit card to be auto-deducted $50 per month until the bill was paid off. The first payment of $50 was made in February 2018. I received a handwritten note in the mail asking me to sign that I agreed to allow the automatic debit of $50 each month to my card. I signed and sent back. In April I received a copy of my receipt for a payment of $100 with a handwritten note stating they "forgot" to charge me in March. Okay, fine. It was clearly an archaic practice they were running, everything on paper, very antiquated, so I could see how this mistake could happen. In July, I receive a past due statement for the rest of my balance and upon checking, no additional payments were made since the $100 in April. Clearly, they "forgot" again for 3 months. Then, today, I check my bank statement and see a deduction for $132.54, which was never authorized. Apparently by passing along my credit card number with a signed statement to bill $50 per month gave them free reign to bill whatever and whenever they wanted. (Not to mention my visit to that office was less than stellar as well....very old and dirty, doctor was rude....) This is not a review for the doctor but for the billing department. Aaahhhh Dr, Josh. The best Neuro around. He diagnosed my MS. He listens to what you say. He returns calls. (as with most Drs. when they can.) Dr. Josh has a great bedside manner. As my GP said when he referred me to the Dr. He would use Dr Hasbani if his wife had a neurological issue.

Look no further if your in need of a neurologist. Dr Josh Hasbani is incredible. Look at his background to begin with. He is impressively educated! His demeanor; his compassion and kindness is both welcomed and needed. He met me after a long road of doctors and no answers. I had played web doctor myself only to fear the diagnosis and worry about what it could be even more. He put unrational fears to rest and convinced me to go through with a nerve test I was terrified of getting. He was humorous, comforting, straight forward and honest. Mentally I feel the best I have in months after 45 minutes with this doc. We have a future plan and he started me on a new medicine I have high hopes for. Would never recommend Dr Hasbani to anyone. Rude, rushed and no time offered to explain suspected diagnosis, which folllowing MRI with another Dr was not accurate, and no time offered to discuss possible treatment. Didnt have us sit in the office, spoke to my hard of hearing mother with his back turned and on his computer. This is my third attempt at this survey, he was that bad. I put 3 stars becuase I suspect system will not accept a bad review. I've given more detail on another site.

I was having clear symptoms of MS when I was referred to Dr. Hasbani. Dr. Hasbani was efficient, yet professional, and extremely diagnostic. I had already lost feeling in my hands and arms and had trouble walking. Dr. Hasbani's rapid assessment and treatment changed everything. I am walking, and even running now. Dr. Hasbani has worked with me over the past year and has always made himself available. Excellent neurologist! Thank you
