Dr. May is so kind and caring. She takes the time to understand you and your specific cancer. She doesn’t rush your appointment and answers any questions you have. She explains everything so well.

Doctor May is the finest example of a human being and physician that I know. She saved my life when All other Doctors gave me No chance. I have recommended her to 3 friends and they all are of the same opinion. She is the only woman on the planet that I do not lie to, and do exactly what she tells me without question. I have been under her care for almost three years and am in her office 12-15 times/year.

Dr. Abdo-Matkiwsky and her staff were wonderful. From the receptionist who checked me as a first time patient, to the considerate phlebotomist who, taking my phobia from prior experiences into great consideration, gently drew my blood, I would highly recommend without hesitation, this hematology team. When Dr. Abdo-Matkiwsky entered the room and greeted me to discuss the reason for my visit, she could not have been more engaging! It was obvious to me that see truly cares about her patients with her goal to get to the root of the problem and provide the best possible solutions for the best possible outcome. I trust her expertise implicitly and know she will see to it that I receive the care needed to enable my optimal health!

DR MAY ABDO MATKIWSKY. Is the best Dr. I had. She is will to talk to you and say we can work with the problem. Also don't worry we will fine the problem. Always has a smile and likes hearing about our grandkids.

Always treated with respect and everyone seems to genuinely care. Dr May takes as much time a I need and she remembers from visit to visit what is going on in my life. Top notch. Would not want another Dr.

The office staff is always friendly and courteous and helpful. Dr. May always takes her time to answer all my questions and concerns during my appointment. She's very compassionate and thorough. Anytime I call the office with a question, the nurses will always call me back with an answer after they have checked with Dr. May. I'm very pleased with the care and attention I receive from her and her staff.

5 stars isnt enough. Dr. May is without a doubt, the most wonderful, compassionate doctor I have ever met. I was recommended to her after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Everyone told me I should go to a Sloan Kettering type place but Im so glad I went to see Dr. May. She has been there every single step of the way through my treatment and just seeing her smiling face puts me at ease. Ive never met a doctor who makes herself so available to a patient, the woman is literally super woman. Her and her staff always make me feel like a person, not like just a number. They navigated me through the scariest moments of my life and I am eternally grateful. She is knowledgeable, has patience and is thorough. Thanks to her and her team, today, I am proud to say I am a breast cancer survivor. I cant say enough wonderful things about Dr. May. I am beyond blessed to have been placed in her care!

I highly, hiighly recommend her! She is extremely knowledgeable as well as warm and easy to talk to. As others have noted, she is very good at explaining things in terms patients can understand. I have been seeing Dr. Abdo-Matkiwsky for over 10 years, and through 2 different forms of cancer. She also follows my husband. Occasionally you have to wait to see her, but it is always because she has been tied up with an emergency or extremely complex patient.

Back in July 2017 I was told I had 2 months to live. I was examined by Dr May and while she did tell me I was not curable , I was treatable. Well it's been over 2 years now and doing very well. Dr. May has been honest and up front with me from day one and I respect her for that. Has given me her best and I am still around to talk about it. She knows what she is doing and doing it very well, she give me 110% every time I see her.

Dr. May is very good about speaking to patients and family members in "laymen's terms" so that we can understand what she is saying. She is personable, competent and pleasant. Great bedside manner! I am the daughter of two of her patients: my mother and my father.

Dr. May is very caring and thorough. She never gives me the feeling that she is anxious to get my visit so she can move on to the next patient. She answers my questions thoroughly. Her staff is also very competent and pleasant and willing to explain things I sometimes don't understand.

My doctor is the BEST!!!! She has been treating me for over 4 years.

Dr. May is my favorite doctor ever. She is very personable and has a great bedside manner. She is also very knowledgeable and makes a point to keep up on current trends in treatment options. If you have an issue she will help you deal with it and find a way to make your treatments work for you - even it if means trying a few different meds until you find the best fit for you. You can tell she loves what she does and you know you are in good hands. I love seeing her.

Dr. May has been monitoring my condition (non-Hodgkins Lymphoma - in remission) for several years. She is extremely competent, and always pleasant. When I recently found out that a friend was diagnosed with melanoma, I was thrilled that she was his doctor also. She's the best--the absolute best!

I always feel so positive and reassured after seeing Dr. Abdo-Matkiwsky. Her upbeat personality is infectious and I have total faith in her medical abilities.

Dr. May is one of the most caring physicians that I have ever encountered. She is extremely empathetic and truly shows that she cares for her patients. She explains things thoroughly and never rushes you through an appointment. She is knowledgeable and I trust her with my life. That is the highest compliment that a physician can obtain.

My experience with Dr. May has been nothing but positive. From the very first meeting, she gave me all the information I needed about my diagnosis and treatment. She and her amazing staff and nurses were with me every step of my chemotherapy and follow up appointments. Dr. May is always available to answer questions that arise. I could not ask for better treatment.

Dr may is an exceptional doctor knowledgeable great mannerisms easy to communicate with

Dr May is meant to do this. As yet another unfortunate victim of breast cancer i fell under the care of this wonderful doctor. She is an awesome intelligent caring doctor. She is highly skilled and knows what she is doing. She and her entire staff are to be commended on the treatment they provide, and how they provide it with human honest caring, and detailed explanations of the entire process. I would recommend Dr May and her staff to anyone. I'm glad to be under her care

DR.May.....She has everything a doc needs at a difficult time....caring, skilled, and interested in the patient during and post(which I am now, 10 years post) A dear and wonderfully smart woman. I was and still am, a very big fan!!!!She is a friend for life!!!

Five stars plus. Dr. May's presence with you makes you feel comfortable and reassured. Dr. May is authentic, analytical, thorough and very knowledgeable. She is a doctor's doctor. I am so fortunate that my wife and I found her.

Dr. Matkiwsky is very knowledgeable about all problems that come up with my different illnesses. She always calms me and I only wish there was a way to clone her because I know she is so very busy.

She is one fantastic lady. Very compassionate and concerned and above all, very knowledgeable. Explains everything to the last period. I have already raved about her to my friends.

Awesome staff and Dr. May really doesn't come across as a doctor that looks as you as just an appointment. She seems genuinely interested and concerned about your overall health outside of what she may be responsible for treating, and has such a welcoming, knowledgeable, and energetic personality. As with most doctors there are times where waits are long, but this is because Dr. May spends the time necessary with each patient, not because they book too many appointments.

Dr Matkiwsky is a wonderful, caring, compassionate dr who takes the time to explain your treatment so you know everything to expect. She is very positive and upbeat. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone I know. She told me from the beginning that my cancer was curable, and now I’m cancer free. I can’t say enough about how fantastic she is. The staff in Sparta is also great.

Dr. May is the sweetest, most compassionate, caring Dr. She gets tough when she has to but in the most caring way. She makes you feel like you are her best friend. God bless her, she saved my life.

I am so lucky to have found her. She puts me at ease right away, facilitating communication. I have complete confidence in her. A rare find.

My Mom actually enjoys going in for her scheduled followup appointments. Dr. May is always upbeat and interested in talking with her & me. She takes the time to find out what is going on in her life and is always complimenting her on how good she is doing and how great she looks. Her whole staff is the same way and we made many friends of the nurses who were involved in giving her treatments. Mom is in her 90's and the nurses were very patient with her. We miss seeing them.

She is simply amazing. She is not a pill pusher. She knows her field and explains everything to where you easily understand. I believe her being a DO helps her understand total health. I live in PA and cross state lines to see her. I will not change.

Dr May from day one so such a kind and understanding down to earth person and doctor. She listened to all my concerns and addressed them all. She was there with me while having chemo while taking care of others. My daughter in law who is in the Medical field dealing all types of cancer on the research side came with me and had plenty of questions for Dr.May and she answered all of her concerns too. During having Chemo my family was allowed to be with me which was comforting. Dr May The Best?????

Dr. Matkiwsky is my favorite doctor I’ve ever met. She is caring so easy to work with. She makes sure you understand your condition and answers all questions directly.

Nothing but good things to say about Dr May. Despite the incredible pressure she must be under every day in dealing with a potentially terminal illness, she never makes me feel rushed or silly with my list of questions. She manages to strike the perfect balance between a dignified professional and an empathetic friend.

Dr May has always made feel like a #1 priority. She always takes the time I need and I never feel rushed. Sometimes the wait at my scheduled appointment is longer than I'd like but I take it in stride as I assume everyone else is getting the same personalized treatment.

100%. Dr. May, to me, is a Rock Star. Because of her and the staff I'm still here. She's caring, friendly, and takes the time to talk, answer all of your questions and just take the time to help you. She's the Best. There is no other way to say it, THE BEST !

Dr. May is the best. Her lovely smile brightens the day. She is extremely attentive and listens to what you need to say. Dr. May is understanding and advice with treatments is right on the spot. Dr. May is one of the most outstanding physicians I have ever encountered. She is so clinically astute and never leaves any disease potential unaddressed. She is caring and friendly. I am quite fortunate to have Dr. May as my hematologist. The office staff are friendly and willing to address any problems. There have been times when the wait is longer than expected; the staff is aware and explains the issue. It is understandable that cancer patients may require extra time.

Dr Matkiwsky has always taken the time necessary to explain all aspects of my care. Even during the most difficult times, she makes me feel safe and "ok". To have her genuine greeting as I pass her in the hall is warming.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 7 years ago. Dr. May has been by my side during my whole journey. Very professional, but at the same time very approachable and compassionate. She really listens to all your concerns. Love her!
