Maxwell Wensel Steel III

This physician wrote me a note to return to work with a femoral and radial fracture. He stated that he “assumes my work is sedentary” and when I responded that I am a medical-surgical nurse, he said that “nurses don’t do anything” and finished writing the note, which my employer rejected. Completely unprofessional.

DR. M. STEEL IS A TALENTED COMPASSIONATE SURGEON. UNFORTUNATELY HIS RECEPTION STAFF LEAVE MUCH TO BE DESIRED. ON TWO OCCASIONS THEY BUNGLED MY APPOINTMENT, HOWEVER THIS WEEK WAS THE CLINCHER, AFTER BEING PUT ON HOLD FOR A WHILE, VANESSA'S AUTOMATED VOICE MAIL CALMLY ADVISED THAT SHE WAS AWAY FROM HER DESK, BUT WOULD GET BACK TO ME IN 24 OR 48 HOURS. Great staff at the JOI University site. Diana was my PT and she does whatever she can to make sure that each patient receives a healthy recovery. I will always come back to this site.
