Dr. Mitchell was the surgeon for my daughter’s tetralogy of fallot heart valve repair. He is very gentle compassionate man but also very honest and forthcoming. He followed up with us several times throughout our stay in the hospital post op, which I was not expecting. Dr Mitchell held my daughter’s life in his hands and she came out of surgery stronger than ever. He had the unfortunate task of informing my wife and I of some issues that were discovered during pre operation scans. The news he had to give us was horrifying and he provided it to us the best way possible. He explained everything and the risks without beating around anything. Because of him my wife and I are holding our daughter today. We are forever grateful and recommend anyone that needs pediatric heart surgery, please don’t be afraid to let him work his magic.
