Max C Lee

Even though I have not yet spent much time with Dr. Lee as he had a very busy schedule he completed surgery late in the day and wrote his surgical notes shortly before midnight. That's dedication!

My recovery was a scary thing for my friends and family to deal with, but just as Dr. Lee said I would eventually be back to normal or as close to that as possible...Sure it took longer than I truly thought was possible, but he did a great job for me, it helped I was 25+/- yrs younger than the typical patient, you just have to have a positive outlook on life and everything should be great! This doctor has absolutely no bedside manner. Very rude. I wish I could give a 0!

If 0 stars were an option it would be 0. Rude, condescending, traumatizing in truth. In my opinion, this man should not be allowed to see patients. If I had my surgery to do over, I would find another surgeon.

I've worked with more than a dozen spine surgeons and Dr. Lee is one of the absolute best I've met. His judgement and skill are phenomenal. Remember, a surgeon isn't there to provide emotional support, s/he is there to physically fix a problem

I've had Dr Max Lee through 4 back/neck surgeries from Feb 2010, May 2010, September 2010 and in 2017. Im fused from T1-T12 and in my neck a little and my rear-end. I do physical therapy and whirlpool when I can go in. Have shots every 2-3 months with Dr Oscar Wille. Am very happy I do drive. Am independent. Both Dr's did a great job. Dr.Lee did my neck and middle back surgery. It was successful. very observant, caring. Went the extra mile.

I've known Dr Lee for 10years and 4 back surgeries. He is an excellent physician and I coulnt be happier. Now it's just Physical Therapy and water therapy. Dr. Lee gave me my life back. I recommend him to everyone I know.

I have known Dr. Lee for about three years. He came highly recommended by many other doctors and other health care professionals with the Aurora system and has lived up to my expectations. As a last resort I have had two lumbar fusion procedures. He explained everything going in very well and I knew what to expect. I always believe that to judge a good surgeon you must talk to his peers. No regrets with Dr. Lee.

After a botched microdiscectomy by another surgeon, in another city left me disabled I was referred to Dr Max Lee. He has performed 4 surgeries on me, ranging from an ALIF to a simple battery replacement on my SCS. Dr Lee is not warm and fuzzy and gets right to the point, but he is a VERY kind man who has helped me with my PTSD-like fear of surgeries. My appointment was basically a rush job from this Doctor. I’ve been in debilitating pain for 2 years from a back injury so I made an appt with Dr Max Lee. He took 2 minutes to look at the MRI and pats me on the back and said ok you can go back to work now. This is how caring this guy is. Dr Lee did a very difficult surgery on my sister. Surgery was a great success and he was extremely caring to her and the family.

Dr. Lee did a C1-2 fusion for me almost 7 years ago. It turned out great!! If I had any further spinal issues, Dr. Lee would be my first choice surgeon.

I could hardly walk due to spinal stenosis. Six months out of back surgery I have minimal back pain and no psciatic nerve pain. Dr Lee is a miracle worker

Dr Lee is an excellent physician! I totally value his honesty, knowledge and skill. I would trust no other DR with my back or my husbands pituitary tumor than Dr Max Lee!! I lived in Milwaukee 18 yrs and drive back 4 hrs to continue care with him. He's the best!!

I would recommend Dr. Lee to anyone in need of a neurologist. Dr. Lee performed surgery on my lower spine. He explains everything that he is going to do in depth, he does not sugar coat anything, tells you exactly what he is going to do and what you can expect. That is what you would want and expect from an EXCELLENT Doctor. The day I went into surgery of course I was nervous as anyone would be going under anesthesia...but I knew I was in good hands. I would definitely see Dr Lee again if needed
