Dr, McMahon is an excellent physician who truly cares. I have been sick with an undiagnosed illness for 6+ years, and she is the first doctor to show true compassion. Sure, UCLA is a bit tough to get in and out of, as their doctors are so high in demand; I've often had to wait close to two hours to see her. But honestly, it's worth it, and last time I went, the wait was much shorter. She also got me set up with a program that pays entirely for my infusions (15K a month!) She's great.

She's very nice and personable but has poor follow up. I received an e-mail with some important test results that were shared with her and my primary care doctor. She kept reading my results wrong, even though I had read them myself. Maybe she has currently has too many patients, but I would never return to a doctor who mis-reads test results. Also if you see her at Ron Reagan Medical Center you will receive a bill for $1000. They bill your insurance as a hospital visit.
