I took my son to visit Dr. McGeehan after years of dealing with chronic allergy issues. Her staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. McGeehan took the time to go over all the options after his skin test. Every encounter with her and her staff has been wonderful, I would highly recommend this practice for your allergy suffering.

After suffering from a chronic cough for over a year, I finally found Dr. McGeehan. I had been to a noted Plano allergist and an ENT. Neither doctor could diagnose the cough. Dr. McGeehan diagnosed it right away, and I began her recommended treatment. I found her to be very compassionate and interested in my condition. She is the best!!

Very patient and answers all my questions. Vey friendly and personable.

Life saver allergy injections, cut my coughing from constant to very infrequent after just about. Year. Help cut my asma attacks to almost non existent.

I came in for initial consultation only but I have nothing but good words about her. I have to state that I have high deductible insurance, means almost anything I do would be out of pocket. A visit to her was not cheap, but she spent almost an hour with me answering my questions and explain some over the counter remedies. I was prepare for a skin test but I was not a candidate for it, so she gave me the options to consider blood test, then send me home with samples for different medicines to try before bringing out the big gun. The whole procedure was not rush at all, which is rare nowm I came in for initial consultation only but I have nothing but good words about her. Dr. McGeehan is a wonderful doctor. Patient, friendly, thorough and caring.

The office staff were incredibly rude! I had a bad reaction to a bee sting and subsequently took a bee venom test online through Labcorp and tested highly allergic. The doctor wanted $320 for the initial appointment. With a very high deductible and being out of pocket for all of it, I asked whether we could move directly to shots since I had a bad a reaction and could provide the lab results to show I am allergic. Standard protocol is to start low on therapy so what difference would additional lab work make? I questioned what the doctor could tell me for $320 that I don't already know? I was told this is "the way we do it" and was hung up on. Seriously, Dr. McGeehan, the way the medical profession does things (all profit driven) is breaking the back of everyday Americans. I was then told I had to use my insurance, even though I pay for it. Ot is perfectly legal and MY RIGHT to not file against it and get a cash price. Under HIPPA law, I can restrict Personal Health Information (PHI) from being shared with my insurance provider, or anyone else for that matter if I am paying for it. This office doesn't even understand HIPAA laws! I was hung up on again because I tried to explain this. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE .. AND unwilling to think outside of the box to help a patient that will be spending HUNDREDS possibly THOUSANDS of dollars on therapy. You won the fight, but you lost the battle. The medical profession needs to ADAPT and think outside of the box for the sake of people. Stop spending their money for needless appointments and labs! Thank you doctor McGeehan and staff for not being willing to bend a bit for something so simple as an allergy that left untreated could cause death. The office staff were incredibly rude! I had terrible allergy problems before I saw Maureen. Within a couple of months I was significantly better. Within a year of treatments I was completely better. 5 years after seeing Dr. McGeehan I’m still symptom free without any treatments for the last 4 years. Total professional who is caring and fantastic! Love her and her staff.

Dr. McGeehan is an amazing doctor. I second the other review that she is the best doctor I've ever met. She is thoughtful, compassionate, she listens to her patients, and she takes her time. I was so worried about my asthma, and she was very patient and understanding. She worked with me to try different treatment options. I felt very safe in her care. I feel like it was a blessing that I happened upon her and was able to get an appointment. Definitely the best experience I've ever had with a doctor. Dr. McGeehan is an amazing doctor. She is a passionate amazing doctor!! She will be my doctor forever. Her staff is professional and great. I highly recommend Dr. McGeehan. Thank you Dr. McGeehan!
