Outstanding physician/surgeon. Excellent staff.

I just had my first meeting with Dr. Mahlberg: a consultation about squamous cell cancer and possible surgery. I found him to be kind, respectful, very knowledgable, and good-humored. He totally put me at ease about the surgery. I feel very grateful to have found him!

Dr Mahlberg and his staff are so professional and incredibly knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.

There are not enough accolades to express my gratitude and appreciation for the staff at Colorado Center for Dermatology and skin surgery. Dr Alkousakis and Dr. Mahlberg have continued to manage my skin concerns with comprehensiveness and compassion. I am humbled and thankful for everyone and everything this place does.

Dr. Mahlberg is the best dermatologist I have visited. His work is excellent and he truly cares about each patient. His office is well organized and the people who work with him are efficient as well as friendly. We are lucky to have him and his team in Longmont.

I have had 4 appointments with Dr. Mahlberg who seems very kind. However, my last three appointments were follow ups after Juvederm injections. He originally talked me into 2 full syringes and the results were definitely not worth $1450. He admitted that he wished he had injected more into one side and asked that I come back to have that done. After he was 40 minutes late for that appointment, it was hard to hear that I needed to come back yet again, but I made an appointment for a month later as instructed and took the day off from work for a 2nd time. When I went to have the numbing cream applied I had to wait a 1/2 hour. However, they told me the Dr. was running on time and to be back right at my appointment time, after the numbing cream had taken effect. I did return on time & unfortunately after waiting another 40 minutes, I had to leave to pick up my kids without having been seen by the doctor. The pleasant Doctor and Office Staff are not worth subpar results and very long wait times. I have had 4 appointments with Dr. Mahlberg who seems very kind. Dr. Mahlberg is fantastic! When I talk to him, he listens carefully to what I am saying, and always responds by explaining my options in a way that is easy to understand. He also gets results - my issue was resolved a few days after my visit. His staff are great as well, they always makes me feel comfortable. I always recommend Dr. Mahlberg to my family and friends. Amazing guy and doctor. Incredible bed side manner that immediately puts you at ease. I am lucky to have found him. Great staff from start to finish from check in to the staff in the room. Dr. Mahlberg seems to authentically care about his patients and is a genuine guy. Highly recommend.

Dr. Mahlberg is an incredible Mohs Surgeon. I refer him my complex Mohs surgery cases and patients are always impressed with his professionalism, skill and attention to detail. I would highly recommend him.

I've had dermal fillers before, but never experienced the results I saw from Dr. Mahlberg! I cannot express how happy I am with the difference in my appearance. My friends and family say I look 10 years younger. The thing that impressed me the most, was that I had virtually no bruising! Dr. Mahlberg does not rush, is thoughtful and careful in placing the product and creates a wonderfully calm, relaxing atmosphere. The office itself is lovely and his team members are warm and welcoming. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a 15! When a doctor found skin cancer on my face and said I would need surgery, I was horrified –I did not want scars on my face like Frankenstein. However, when I met with Dr. Mahlberg he explained that the surgery was not going to be as bad as I was imagining. Dr. Mahlberg took the time to address my vanity concerns, explained the procedure and recommended future treatment ideas to limit potential surgeries in the future. He also took the time to figure out which direction to make the incision so that it would simply look like a little line on my forehead. Dr. Mahlberg welcomed my after-hours phone calls when I had questions about my post-op care which I really appreciated. My scar has healed beautifully and in fact, is hardly recognizable just a couple of months later. Dr. Mahlberg was professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable in addition to being a highly skilled and trained surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Mahlberg and have referred my husband and co-workers to him as well. I went to Dr. Mahlberg for Botox treatment recommended to help with migraines. I arrived a bit nervous, and he immediately put me at ease with his professional and easy-going demeanor. He communicated and checked on me throughout the procedure and called to follow up the next day. My migraines have improved significantly, and I found my family's dermatologist!

I've had dermal fillers before but never experienced such fabulous results as those by Dr. Mahlberg! My friends and family say I look 10 years younger. More importantly, Dr. Mahlberg takes his time, discusses and evaluates product placement and creates a calm, relaxing environment. Additionally, I experienced very little discomfort and virtually no bruising. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable and his staff and office are top-notch. I chose Lake Loveland Dermatology after I did some due diligence and was satisfied with what I found.I initially saw Dr. Bair and she quickly diagnosed my issue as a basal cell carcinoma on my nose. After the biopsy confirmed her diagnosis I set up a MOH's surgical appointment with Dr. Mahlberg.The surgery went great and was not near the ordeal I imagined. I could not be more pleased with how I was treated by everyone at Lake Loveland Dermatology from the receptionist to Dr.'s Malhberg and Bair.

Staff is friendly and efficient and full of praise for Dr. Mahlberg. Dr. Mahlberg is congenial, factual, takes time to discuss and explain. He has consulted for me and my family, treating warts, melanoma, pre-cancers, rash, acne and more. Dr. Mahlberg is knowledgeable and confident. He worked closely with me to determine best treatment for my circumstances. Results of treatments have been very good. I would highly recommend him.
