Dr. Colman carefully reviewed my medical studies, discovered my problems and explained them all to me. I was very impressed by his knowledge and his understanding of everything that I needed to know. Before Dr Yankee did my reverse left shoulder socket and ball replacement I couldn't lift my left arm over my side. After the surgery I was able to move my left arm over my side with NO Problem. I'm planning on doing my right shoulder after a back surgery that I badly need I would recommend Dr Yankee to anyone that asks me!! He's a ROCKSTAR in his chosen profession!!

I had a Pryor surgery on my knee with DR Colman and I can tell you I feel very confident and comfortable with DR Colman and his staff I am currently off work as a result of a work injury I have a severely pinched nerve in my L5 disc that has been painful for me one year and half now I have been on workman's comp I'm just honestly in too much pain to perform my work duties related to construction as a general laborer I miss working I will be receiving a 3rd spinal cortisone injection in my back soon I'm hoping it helps so I feel better and can get back to work however if it doesn't I will possibly have to have a surgery to correct this issue I would like DR Colman to perform my surgery I truly feel very comfortable and confident with him thanking DR Colman and staff I am in so much pain especially my nerves in my right leg it's very difficult getting in and out of bed and to even walk please help me dr Colman ????????????happy new year

I saw Dr. Coleman on referral for a complex spinal issue that most surgeons would not touch. Dr. Coleman listened to our concerns, talked us through the procedure, outlined the risks, but also the risks of potentially not doing anything. He provided the answers needed to make an informed decision.

Dr. Colman performed surgery on my spine 4 days ago. I need to remind myself to take it easy to recover. I have a little, expected, soreness at my incision. It pales in comparison to the pain I was in just 5 days ago. My previous ortho recommended a much more invasive option. I’m so glad that I sought a second opinion from Dr. Colman. I have taken less pain medicine since my surgery than I was taking each day before the surgery. I also haven’t used a crutch at all since the surgery. I couldn’t get out of bed without one before. After over 2 years of treating a back injury I had from work, my ortho suggested that I need a fusion. I went to Dr. Colman for a second opinion. He was very professional, listened to my history, reviewed my notes and MRI. He recommended a much less invasive treatment that I will now be scheduling with him. He was confident in his opinion and was very clear that he disagrees that I need a fusion. He fully explained why he made his recommendation. I am so glad I went to see him. I was preparing myself for a long, eventless summer recovering from a fusion that I was hoping would help and not make my back worse. Now, that option is off the table while I pursue a much less risky and invasive procedure with less down time.

Dr. Coleman did a great job at explaining my options and answering all questions regarding my condition. Very knowledgeable and attentive. Very impressed with follow up questions after the appointment (same day). Would highly recommend him.

Listened to what the issues were. Asked a lot of questions, which was very good. Went into detail about he thought were the problem and gave his opinion on what could be done. He was very easy to talk with.

Dr. Colman is precisely what I needed to solve my ongoing neck injury issues. I feel hope and confidence that life will return to normal after having the privilege to become his patient. Dr. Colman and his entire team are at the top of their profession. Caring and consummate professionals in all they do. His qualifications and experience are precisely what I needed. The humble approachable demeanor provides an opportunity to feel comfortable and ask all the questions. His surgical/medical/educational background is beyond impressive. He is well researched in the latest developments and is a published author in the areas of expertise that I need to get better. He has been randomly recommended as the go to Dr. multiple times in my search for the best. I trust Dr. Colman and his team to deliver highest certainty in medical/surgical results possible.

The previous comment is absolutely true. Dr Colman is an absolute liar and is only out for money wherever he can get it. I had a surgery over 4 years ago where he was removing a badly herniated disc and a tumor in my vertebrae. I asked him prior if he was going to do a fusion and he said, "nah, Im just going to cut it off!" I really thought a fusion was in order but you know what they say, just listen to your doctor! I should of listened to my gut! After surgery I asked him if the tumor was out. He didn't bring it up. He said yes everything went good with that. Six months later I was in so much pain. My pain management Dr ordered an MRI. My disc totally ruptured and the tumor was still there! He charged my insurance company and didn't even take it out. He said it wasn't cancer and I had other places say they couldn't say if it was or not for quite a while I wasn't even sure if I had cancer. I had an independent MRI done which I paid for. I asked the radiologist if the tumor had ever been operated on. He said no, you need to make a medical board complaint. He put it in writing on the report that it was never operated on. I brought that to Dr Colman and showed him the report. He said, "Are you saying I didn't do what I said I did?" I said no, the doctor is! He asked if he could call the radiologist. I said sure because how could I stop him. He argued with the radiologist and he tried to get him to change the report. He would not. I heard the radiologist say, I see no evidence of post operative change or biopsy. Dr Colman hung up on him and said he is just a community radiologist. He is actually a board certified radiologist. I asked Dr Colman if he could see my point of view. He yelled, no I cannot. I was in shock. I even went back one more time to try to get him to fix my back that was so painful. He wanted me to go to pain management in Chicago and I live hours away. No way, he was just pushing me aside. I did make the medical board complaint and it was detailed and had the proof. Good lawyers and I found out after the fact they deleted alot of my records and put things in to make me look bad. Medical board did open a case but who knows what kind of garbage his lawyers said. When someone amends a record they have to put a line through the old records and put the new one underneath. Mine was deleted and it just said amendment. He thinks I don't know this!!!! I waited 3 years in excruciating pain, my spine was a mess. I had a big surgery with a huge recovery. This guy doesnt care about patients. I see he hasn't changed after reading this previous comment. Money is all he cares about. He does so many side jobs. Hes a spokesman for companies that the hospital buys your plate from. There's different types of plates so make sure you are getting the right one for you. You can be sure he's using the ones he sponsors and maybe gets kickbacks or vacations. Some incentives. He also works for a company doing second opinions. I hadnt heard about the workmen's comp stuff he does. He is a narcissist for sure, hiding behind lawyers and Rush hospital. Everything I say is the truth and I have medical records to prove it. Beware of this Doctor. Hes a great salesman. Just wants your insurance money at any cost. He will definitely charge your insurance company for ghost procedures , if he has the opportunity. Most patients dont find out because he is the one following their care, so how would they. Its sad because I trusted him completely. He betrayed me. He could care less. I hope he's happy with himself and the way he handles his patients. Then he lies through his teeth even will right to your face. I used to be really hurt but now I just feel sorry for him. Hes an empty shell of a human. Please do not trust this Dr . He is a con artist.

Dr Colman is a very nice doctor explaining medical matters in a very professional way .He performed a surgery on my knee 2 yrs ago and done a great job I would highly recommend DR Colman for all orthopedic issues .

The facility was packed the day I visited Dr. Colman, so things were slow, but the staff dealt with everything as efficiently as possible and Dr. Colman apologized for the wait which was nice. (Doesn't happen with all docs, alas.) He had the information he needed, was familiar with my case, covered every concern and answered all questions, treating me as if I was the only patient he had to see that day. I had no sense of being rushed or slighted in any way. He seems smart, and up on treatment options, and I felt good talking to him which is so important. I'm pleased to have him on my medical team.

Never been to a more professional, organized and thorough doctors office!! PA and Dr. Coleman took the time to answer ALL my questions! Visit was not rushed and I feel confident in the recommendations I was provided! Definitely 5 stars!!!

Visit: just consultation. My Husband and I was very pleased what Dr. Coleman discuss with us about his health and moving forward of getting a surgery. He explained everything clearly. He was very direct and answered any questions we had to asked.

Waste of time. I drove 3 hours and sat for 4 hours for a work comp injury. Was told I have a severe back strain but before I even left the parking deck I was called by my work saying I can come back to work. Wondering if he was paid for that

Dr. Colman does not press you into something not wanted. Read x Rays and we talked about them. Therapy to loosen back pain then shots after so many sessions. Dr. Colman is at the very top of my list. Highly recommended.

Dr. Coleman did neck surgery on me after my previous surgery didn’t take . He was very compassionate and explained everything about this revision surgery , and all the follow up appointments with him have been very positive. I highly recommend him . And his PA’s are great too .

Doctor Colman performed corrective surgery on my right femur around a year after I was hit by a car (around 2016-2017). The initial surgery left part of the rod sticking out causing a build up of scar tissue and chronic pain. He was able to fix the issue and save me from chronic pain for the rest of my life. I was diagnosed with multiple injuries with one possibly being nerve impingement in the neck and arm. After being referred & seen by Dr. Colman, my diagnosis was confirmed. He went over the many treatment options and those he did not recommend & the reasons why. His demeanor easily placed me at ease and confident I was in good hands. Surgery successfully eliminated my pain. Dr Colman set my expectations that total recovery would take almost a year. I appreciated knowing what to expect. He listened to my recovery progress and approved multiple types of physical therapy to assist recovery. Surgery was worth it, the recovery time wait was worth it. I have been trying to find out for the last 10 months why I was having so much back pain and after being told it could be cancer, hernia or in my head I finally got a correct diagnosis from dr Coleman and his team . They very thoroughly looked at tests , range of motion but most importantly “ actually listened to my symptoms “! I knew exactly where my pain was and what aggravates the symptoms and it matches perfectly with their diagnosis. While not rushing into surgery dr Coleman assured me they would continue to work with me until I feel better . Dr is so caring, reassuring, and truly acts in your best interest. Dr Coleman did a great job of explaining my tests in layman terms , answering all my questions and never made me feel rushed.

I highly recommend his services. I had 4 cervical sections repaired with him and arthritic bone Spurs on the inside of my spine removed and 2 bad discs removed in January of this year at pinnacle hospital. He was able to do all of it through the front of the neck in a less than 2 inch incision. So far everything is going good and I am pleased with the titanium parts. I start therapy next week. I couldn’t ask for any better care. Thank you.

Had a synovial cyst compressing sciatic nerve and was in excruciating pain for months. PT and steroid injections did not work. Made appointment and saw Dr Coleman. Surgery recommended, and all questions answered with detailed explanations. Surgery completed and 3 months later released and doing very well. Could not be happier!

I had surgery with Dr Colman. He did great work. However after 3 months I am still having pain. I was ordered an MRI and an x-ray. After I had them done it took 2 days to get to talk to someone and it was a pa that I've never spoke to or met before. She sounded like she was just reading what the report said. I just feel that if someone is having complications that the doctor should be more involved. I felt like I've been just brushed over.

This doctor did an independent medical exam for a workman's compensation insurance company. I met him for 10 minutes. He had about a 2" file of medical records in which I never approved so this is a HIPPA violation. This doctor stated I reached MMI maximum Medical Improvement which in fact he took xrays of my chest which still showed rib contusions and your not allowed to twist turn bend nor lift anything heavy. My job you are required to do such. I injured my back but this dr stated I already had this back issue. He looked at the CT scan and MRI disc's. He seen the bulged disc. He had nothing to back up his determination of what my BACK LOOKED LIKE BEFORE THE INJURY!!!!!! He just made up some BS. I fell on a moving conveyor belt. My back issue is now a bulged disc pressing into the muscle and causing muscle spasms. I'm now with a Neuropain dr giving me backm pain shots. This dr was highly paid by WC ins to lie and send me back to work and not be productive as I was when I began the job. Now I'm wondering if this dr will take $$$ to lie. What do you think he would do to you by stating oh you need this surgery when in fact you may not need it at all because he's looking at insurance money paid to him to do an unnecessary procedure on you and NOT YOUR WELL BEING. Dr. Coleman shouldn't be a doctor seeing he's violating the oath he took as becoming a doctor to help the people with spine problems. Because of Dr. Coleman's lies I lost my workman's compensation medical benefits. I lost my weekly paycheck. I'm being taken care of by my doctor and as of 8/30/2020 I lost my work healthcare benefits. ALL DUE TO THIS LYING DOCTOR!!!!!! BEWARE OF THIS DOCTOR. IF HE IS YOUR DR I'D FIND ANOTHER ONE ASAP. HE CAN'T BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR HEALTH!!!!!!

I was referred to Dr Colman for a consultation and was able see him on rather short notice. I brought discs of x-ray and MRI scans with me. I could not be more impressed with everyone on Dr Colman’s team. After a thorough discussion with Dr Colman his nurse practitioner arranged for additional imaging and other tests to be completed that morning. Within 24 hrs I was contacted with results and a plan for moving forward. The staff was very busy when I was in the office, but they treated me as if I was their only patient.
