She was very professional and nice. She stuck to what she was there for. Everything went well.

Helpful caring staff. Dr. Bowen explains everything and is pleasant????!

He reassured me about my concern and discovered something I was not aware of. When he ordered an antibiotic he fully explained any possible side effects.

I have been seeing him for awhile and after last visit won't go back. He was very rude saying I was trying to find something wrong. How is that when I'm trying to get help and can't hear due to a severe ear infection. I found a nice understanding ENT doctor in grand rapids.

I was very disappointed with the care my daughter got with Dr Bowen. She broke her nose back in November of 2022 our first visit then was odd but I figure ok I understand it takes time for a nose to heal I’m sure the pain, headaches and nose bleeds with go away eventually… made a follow up appt for April of 2023 …but my daughter (16) begged me to please get her another appt sooner as she was still have issues with headaches, nosebleeds, and it was painful to breath in through her nose. So we went in today.. 2/6/23… and again just very odd appt… I understand it’s winter and her nose may be dry…. But he went on stating that he’s never had a patient with a broke nose that complained of headaches and there is something else going on and it has nothing to do with her broken nose , and if we gave it to may or June it will be fine. It was an odd uncomfortable appt and my daughter left in tears and felt like she wasn’t being taken serious. Needless to stay I made another appt for a second opinion after we left. P.S. office staff were great!

This was my 1st appt at an ENT for hearing. Dr. Bowen took the time to answer my questions and seemed very thorough and gave me many options to think about.

Always informative sessions- appreciate the personal concern and recommendations. Real comfort in knowing that a professional medical person takes the time to share the realities of personal medical situations and circumstances.

Dr. Bowen knows his stuff did not mince words. Was very in charge. Not a real friendly funny or compassionate type, but if you are ok with frank “this is it, this is how I will treat it” kind of care i think he is good at what he does. I personally like a kinder type of Dr. but if you don’t mind the because I said so kind of Dr. i think you’re in good hands.

Dr. Bowen has always listened to me and worked hard to find the best solutions for my specific concerns. He clearly explains my options and has developed a plan to successfully treat my chronic condition.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Dr. Bowen listened to all my questions and talked to me about all of my options. It would be a 5 star review but for the referral process. It was just slow. My PCP ended up asking me to contact this office myself to speed up the process. That did work, and they were able to schedule me within the week. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dr Bowen is a great Dr. I have a rare blood disorder and ended up in ER and he came in that night to do surgery. I will always be grateful

I was a new patient experiencing extended vocal fatigue from last summer. I saw Dr. Bowen and he immediately referred me to the SLP and singing specialist. I wish I had been able to be referred right away, as I’m paying out of pocket. Would’ve saved me some cash.

Dr. Bowen was thorough and knowledgeable. He listens well. He also can be firm when needed. I appreciate that. I would recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Bowen is a caring, compassionate and competent doctor who listens first and then answers all questions clearly. My mother, husband and I have been going to him over the past 7 years and of late going to him for some serious concerns. Could not ask for a better ENT. We are fortunate to have him in W. Michigan

Completely uninterested in diagnosing my mother’s current symptoms. Cold. Did not conduct a thorough exam. Relied on old notes and didn’t bother to reassess. Waste of time.

The receptionists, nurses and office staff are all friendly and professional. I was seen by Dr. Bowen quickly. He had noticed something in my recent medical history and took the time to ask me how I was doing. I would recommend him to others.

Friendly and took care of my problem very quickly

Dr. Bowen and his staff were courteius, friendly, and professional. A great experience!

Doctor Bowen’s office has a friendly staff , they do a great job of getting patients in to see the doctor in a timely fashion. Doctor Bowen will take the time to listen to your concerns, and answered any questions you may have . You will be treated with respect and not feel like just another number in a office .

Was kind and patient with my daughter who is 8. It was her first visit and he explained things to her before he did them.

Everyone was very friendly and Dr. Bowen was great. He explained everything to me.. I was very comfortable with him.

I saw Dr. Bowen for an in-office procedure. I was very nervous but he answered my questions to ease my mind. I did a tele-med follow up so I didnt have to take time off work. That's a plus.

Staff is very professional & efficient but also very friendly. Dr. Bowen is very easy to talk too & answers questions thoroughly. He explains what he is doing & very gentle with needles! I consider him my luck of the draw!

My son had tubes put in his ears 3 years ago by Dr. Bowen, and they were such a blessing for a little boy who just got ear infection after ear infection. Once the tubes came out he still had a hole in each ear drum that didn't want to close on their own, as they normally would. At Dr. Bowens suggestion we tried to less invasive paper patch to heal his ears over the much more involved surgery. At his 3 month post op appointment he was 100% healed and fully discharged from the ENT! Through the whole experience Dr. Bowen was great with our son, and he never feared going to his office. He did a wonderful job of talking to him in a way that he knew what was going on with his health. He also remembered what he liked and would talk to him about it to help him stay relaxed and distracted while he was looking in his ears. I just got my 4th ( I think) tube in my ear Friday. He has done all but one which was when I was small. Dr Bowen is consistantly thorough and sweet. He cares for his patients comfort, and explains what he's doing as he goes and uses plain English so you understand. I can be a huge baby and he's been quite patient with me.

Quickly seen. Office reception room is set up to distance each person waiting to be seen. The staff members are welcoming and a pleasure to talk with. I trust his judgment and appreciate his kindness. Not personable, very vague with explaining issues and treatment. Just kept prescribing more pills, not good wait time and felt like I was rushed out of the office. Seems like they want you to come in for everything, including things that can be kept to a phone call. Please stop hunting for co-pays and visits and take care with your patients.

I waited 5 hours at a scheduled surgery for doctor Bowen, only to be told that it would be another 2 hours. He is rude and arrogant and should not be able to practice medicine anywhere
