Dr Bengard was attentive and actively listened to what I had to say. He explained to me the other treatments available if/when I need additional help.

Very knowledgeable and easily understood what he conveyed. I would highly recommend Dr Bengard.

I went to see Dr. Bengard for possible carpal tunnel. He was very knowledgeable and explained things in a very easy to understand manner. I found him to be very thorough and would recommend him to anyone with hand issues.

He was a very kind Dr. Listened to me, Did what I asked. I'd recommend him.

Dr. Bengard was very detailed and not in a hurry to get to his next patient. Completely 180 from last visit. Very pleasant!

Dr. Bengard has seen my son now for 3 different injuries one that included surgery. He has always been great at explaining stuff, listening to you and he's great with my little boy.

I was seen right away, and everyone was friendly. I was very grateful for Dr. Bengard's good personal communication skills and expertise.

good people who listen and explain what is happening. Also come up with potential plan to resolve issues.

Very professional

Dr Bengard was very dismissive and talked over me. He seemed to be insecure and was not interested in what my renowned San Francisco Bay Area hand surgeon told me when he treated me there. Dr Bengard did not show me the respect I felt he should have.

He was an awesome doctor he did a great job on my surgery I'm really grateful that he took the time for me and understood where I came from and what happened and why did it I will always keep always keep him as my doctor I'll ever forget him he is one of the best surgeons and if I ever need surgery again on my hands or whatever I will definitely get a referral 2 have him do another surgery on me I gave him five stars because he is GREAT at what he does and I didn't have to wait o In the patient room very long for him it was a GREAT experience and is one of the BEST!!!! This board certified orthopedic surgeon sat across from me and told me he couldn't help me because the treatment for my chief complaint was not covered by my insurance. No history, no physical exam, no offer to formulate a differential diagnosis - just a cold, "No", based on two words that I told the medical assistant who signed me in. The doctor spoke with rapid, pressured speech and his body language - constantly leaning towards that door that he hadn't even closed when he came in - made it obvious that I was wasting his time. It is tragic that our medical system has come to this. What has happened to the healing arts? Dr. Bengard did a great job fixing my fractured radius. He was available for questions and I received excellent care from his and his staff.

Matthew Bengard is an insolent and unfeeling man. He took his irritation with the surgeon out on my mother with verbal attacks and disrespect, leaving my mother in tears. His medical license should be taken away. I only gave him 1 star because that was required, he deserves no stars.

Dr. Bengard did what he said he was going to do. Perfect. The result did not work like he said it would. I came in with wrist pain and 18 months later it is just as bad if not worse. I wont go back to Dr. Bengard.

FROM THE TIME I WALKED INTO THE BUILDING I FOUND EVERONE GREAT! THEY WERE ALL SMILING AND PLEASENT. I FELT LIKE I WAS THE ONLY ONE THEY WERE THERE TO TAKE CARE OF. EVEN DURING THE SURGEY, THE ATMOSPHERE WAS PLEASENT AND RELAXING.

He seems like he knows what he is doing ..about arthritis in my hands, however I was a little disappointed . He didn't take an x-ray and referred me to occupational therapy. He didn't have anything else to say on the matter.

Dr. Bengard operated on my husband’s broken wrist. He thoroughly explained the process to us, both before and after the surgery, and he was very personable and kind.

Always prompt, which I really appreciate. He explains everything so you can understand and gives you all the options. He takes his time with you and is very easy to talk to. Very personable and makes you feel like your the only person that matters. I recommend him highly.

An excellent experience with Dr. Bengard and his medical assistants. They were friendly and very competent. Dr. Bengard is easy to talk to and will answer all questions. He knew his job and did it it very well.

My son fractured his arm in 2 places and was referred here for care. Dr. Bengard and staff were patient and worked with us as uninsured family. Dr. Bengard is a very good. I have had to see him a couple of times for problems with my hands/fingers and he fixed me right up. He listens, is on time and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him.

This was the third visit with Dr. Bengard. He seems very confident of HIS opinion without LISTENING, but says "You said, I heard you", which he did not repeat anything I said. He also spoke more to my husband than to me. He also cleary told me after appx 7 min, that he had another patient waiting (I had waited for him over 20 min, it was an 8:30 AM appointment.) (I hope THAT patient WAS his Speciality,). I told him, I would be getting another doctor, that his Logo "Our Speciality is You" was not an accurate representation with my appointment with him. If you want a doctor who listens to you, this would not be a good fit, as all three of my experiences with him were the same.

Second visit for carpal tunnel. This time my left hand. Received the same shot I received for my right hand a few weeks ago. All very quick. I know if the pain returns I'll need surgery and that was explained. I would recommend Dr. Bengard to anyone who needed a hand specialist.

Dr. Bengard is amazing!! I appreciate him and his staff for always listening to what I have to say and addressing my concerns in a compassionate way. He just happened to be on call when I broke my wrist and I couldn't be happier that I am taken care of by him!

I was very impressed how smoothly the entire procedure was first entering the surgery building, to the receptionist, the personal to take me to get my wrist Xrayed, to the visit with Dr. Bengard. No waiting time to speak of. The entire visit was run with precision, courtesy and professionalism.

I explained to the lady the reason ive seen 2 other surgeons was because im a single income no significant other and I was trying to find someone to do both hands, BUT THAT I REALIZE HE PROBABLY WONT EITHER BUT THEY WERE GETTING SO BAD I NEEDED TO DO SOMETHING. i dont think she told him everything he opens the door doesn't even come in says no point of me seeing you i wont do both either you can leave. I tried saying I realize that but i needed to and he interrupts me and said you can leave. Worse experience ever WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. EXTREMELY RUDE AND WOULD NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE NOR TO SEND ANYONE THERE.

Dr Bengard’s staff is great and the problem with my hand was quickly diagnosed and treated. I am very thankful we have so many outstanding physicians at the Southern Oregon Orthopedic clinic.

DR. Bengard is extremely good at his profession. This is for every Dr. I have seen. I wish more Drs would keep an open mind with each patient. Just because I have all the symptoms that Suzy may have, but I'm not Suzy. And drs don't take the time to see that one thing I have that Suzy don't have. Angie J.

Good description of hand contracture but no description of RECOVERY from surgery. How impaired will the hand be, time. Can’t make a decision to do it. Need to see the dr. again.
