Dr. Matthew Todd Ankrum

Dr. Ankrum is a nice man and a good dentist but he isn't well-served by his office manager. I recently had crown work done and when I checked out I was told, "Your part will be $430." Then I got a bill in the mail for $1050. I've never had crown work done and I don't walk around with my dental coverage memorized. When someone tells me that, I should be able to assume he has checked my insurance and is giving me the correct information.

Dr.Ankrum give me my first root canal and as bad as a root canal sounds it wasn't everything under Dr.Ankrums control was 100% A+ I've never had numbing medicine injections and barely at all could feel the needle until this time. I had a consultation with Dr Ankrum and his staff on 7/3/2017 and was told that I needed to have a root canal retreated. After reviewing my insurance information I was told that I would be responsible for $412.90 of the $825.80 total, which I paid at the time of the initial treatment. Six weeks after the final treatment I receive a bill for an additional $927.97.
