Dr Abouljoud gave me great hope in helping me after looking at my CT scan. He recommended RFA to my liver and colorectal surgery to be performed at the same time. I stopped all my chemo, made trips to the surgeon and Dr Abouljoud with my scans. They prepped me for surgery, but did none of the procedures. After that, I fell through the cracks of the Henry Ford System. I could have died waiting for them. I had Dr Obi in Jackson do my surgery....Fantastic surgeon!! U of M has done the rest.

Very serene but what a hell of a surgeon. He gave me a new liver (through a wonderful doner) enabling me to enjoy my family and friends for many wonderful years to come.I cannot thank him and the HENRY FORD HOSPITAL TEAM Enough May you and for family be blessed forever . He is the best in every aspect you expect of a true professional. He listens and spends as much time as needed to accomplish his objectives. He works endlessly and follows-up flawlessly.

Amazing Dr.!! He removed a cholangeal carcinoma from my liver in a 12 hour surgery last October. It has been a year now and I am doing well. Can't say enough good things about him and his staff. Dr Abouljoud is a very skilled, very personable, down to earth doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
