Dr. Martin J Milne

Yes, I fractured my jaw in two locations on Christmas day. I passed out (Syncope) due to a mild leak I have on my triscupid heart valve. I landed chin first into the bath tub and started seizing. The hospital recommended him so we call to book an appointment for Jan 2, as I’m booking the appointment his wife that works the front desk was rude and responded with “who told you, you will need surgery?” Mind you the hospital doctor has been in contact already with this office with my cat scans and all. So a few minutes after the call the assistant nurse calls back and apologizes and confirms surgery. Well on Jan 2 I get a call first thing in the morning and the doctor won’t be able to do the surgery and will need to reschedule to the 5th. Shit happens so ok I can deal with 3 more days with my jaw completely hanging off my face. On surgery day I come in I have a few questions and so those my fiancé about after care and all. He refused to answer any questions and kept boating about his 23 years of experience and that he is the best in the world. His exact words. As I was in the surgery room my fiancé try to ask him questions as he was getting ready for surgery about after care and he responded to her with “That’s the problem with YOU people” he also told her this will be a lesson learned experience for me. Like if I did this to myself, fighting, drug usage etc. I didn’t learn about this until the following day, my fiancé was pregnant as well and was very emotional when she told me this. So on my next follow up I bring all of this up and than he starts to argue back with me and when he sees that I get elevated, he starts to apologize and tells me to bring her in and that he would like to apologize to her as well. He than proceeded to further tighten my wires so tight that it lead to broken teeth and two infections. I didn’t find out about the infections and broken tooth until 4 days later. The pain was excruciating be the 4th day I couldn’t handle it I knew something was wrong I broke the wires and headed to Tampa general they looked over his work and said it was a hack job and that no surgeon will touch this because of conflict of interest. So next morning I’m back at his office, that day I get shunned and even though it was an emergency I just wanted him to removed the arch bars, I was going to go to another surgeon and start the procedure again with someone I can align with. That day he said he might not be able to see me but when I refuse to leave the office he than said he would do me a favor and not take his precious lunch break and he would take me then. When we came back at that time his office was close so he lied and he did take his lunch break as we waited outside his door. When we came in and he noticed I had an infection and broken tooth his whole attitude changed again and started apologizing, asking why I didn’t call him etc…. He then propose that I get elastics again after he attempted to remove all of the pus from the infection site i heard him sawing my incision back up with a wrong tool and had to redo it again I felt like I was getting surgery in a third world country. He is incompetent or just doesn’t care at all about his patients. His work is horrible, he reminds me of DR Death from the reality TV series. So after that nightmare I come to realize when go out the arch bars as well they are out in there way too tight that my entire lower teeth bracket has slowly shifted through the week and my gums have been killing me non stop and bleeding. So today I will be going in there to remove it completely, this has been the worst experience ever with a doctor in my life. I’ve worked with doctors before as I’m a dietitian so I know that your just an insurance number to them but this doctor is a nightmare and very racist.

I love Dr. Milne and his staff. They are friendly and always accommodating. I have been satisfied with every procedure I have had.

My son was involved in an accident at which left my sons face fractured and Dr.milne did the finest work on my son and treated us very well i have nothing bad to say about him because he is the best i recommend him to anyone and i live a coulple hours away but i will do it 10 more times if i have too

I had a freak accident and broke almost every bone in my face. I was released from the hospital and had to find a maxillofacial surgeon. I called many different places while weak and in pain, but Dr. Milne's office was the only place that gladly accepted me with open arms. Their staff is absolutely AMAZING. They took care of me while I was in a low point in my life. Dr. Milne reconstructed my face to the point that people don't believe that I ever had facial trauma. He is an amazing surgeon! I am so thankful for him and his entire staff. They are remarkable people. I very much appreciate all the work they have done to get my life back on track. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Staff is friendly and genuinely shows care and concern for their patients. I found everyone at the office to be skilled at what they do.

My experience with the office staff was breath taking! I felt like was amongst family. They treated me with the up most respect and the place clean. All the ladies Mary. Jenn and a other fee I can’t remember their name (please forgive me) were so helpful. Jenn sat with me exam my teeth and I didn’t feel rushed. You can tell they enjoy there job and really care about you. I can’t wait to see them again. I live in Tampa but it’s a hour drive and for that level of services I’ll travel. I highly recommend Dr. Milne and his whole staff. Dr Milne does amazing work,and his staff is so welcoming and compassionate. They made a very bad situation much better for me and I so appreciate it!!!!

Staff unfriendly and horrible customer service. This doctor came highly recommended from a close friend, since I work in the same building I was able to walk over and ask some questions. The lady at the counter barely said hello and when I said I have a few questions, her response was okay what!? That was the rudest experience I have ever encountered in a office or any kind of professional setting. Wonderful dr and wonderful staff!

We used Dr. Milne for all 3 of our children's wisdom teeth extractions without any problem. Our last son's were removed 2 years ago. The staff was great explaining the procedure to avoid dry sockets and the importance of recognizing any complication.

If there were more stars, he and his staff would have them. A near eye skin cancer was removed by another surgeon and, when healed, resulted in an ectropic lower eyelid that was unsightly and annoying. I never dreamed anyone could fix it but Dr. Milne did two surgeries and it looks like it will end up perfectly normal. I can't thank him enough for his knowledge , skill and staff.
