Dr. Martha Markowitz

Wasted nearly a year working with Dr. Markowitz. Contradictory recommendations, directionless sessions, vague analysis that often appears to be poorly thought through, never follows up on her commitments. My son hates her and begged me not to make him go to sessions. To add insult to injury, she is never on time, and often ends sessions early. I'm thinking this is her hobby, not her profession.

I think she means well, soft speaking, etc... but she entices kids into her office with CANDY! Then, part of her "therapy" is to draw silly stick figures! We used her when first moved to Boston area for about a year, when our child was 10-11. I would not recommend her at all!

This dr was recommended to me from the aspergers assoc of ne. I called 4 times asked her if she would consider takingcmycmildly autistic daughter as a patient. This was a month ago. Never called back. Now i understand that perhaps she wasnt taking any new patients.. .but not even a phone call back????. Not a friendly provider.
