Martha Cesena

I am a person who has lived with an anxiety disorder my entire life and was prescribed anti-anxiety meds that had successfully curbed my panic attacks 4 years ago. I needed a new prescriber as I recently moved to MA. Dr. Cesena took my insurance so I contacted her and had a session within the next week. During my first session, Dr. Cesena changed three of my prescriptions and very explicitly told me I was addicted to benzos although I only take my dose once every few months. I was immediately hurt and confused as no time was spent time discussing the other factors of addiction other than long time use. However, I decided to try and stick it out. During our 4th session, she told me she needed to terminate our relationship as I am "difficult to work with". Her explanation of this belief was that I had ended our apt early one session due to tech issues and that I was unable to accept my addiction. Overall I had a traumatizing experience that I have had to go to additional therapy for. I wish I could give 0 stars
